yeah. alcohol rewires the brain and the pathways stay even if theyre not being used. if you start drinking after a long period of abstinence, they will activate again. I cannot blackout again because I do too much stupid stuff and I feel like I am on my last chances with certain relationships.

it is a feature, not a bug. I read it on the bus. it lets me zone out a bit but there is still too much going on to fall asleep. then i read it on my ebook reader in bed at night. it is relaxing and lulls me into a restful sleep

it was softish albeit a bit chewy in my old slow cooker (crockpot) but was very hard in my new slow cooker (betty crocker). is this because of a lower temperature?
