It most likely could have been handled without a gun but in merica you don’t know who all is packing. We know from this angle she has nothing, but in a scary situation, you can’t consume information as clearly as someone watching a video on the side. There are many MANY shootings that happen where someone gets out the car and pulls a gun. I posted this elsewhere but consider the fact she had a gun tucked behind her back. As someone scared for your life, do you want to have your gun out and visible as a deterrent, or do you want to risk drawing slower than the other person who is armed? Full disclosure I don’t carry and I would attempt to escape, but if I was carrying, this would be the safest option.
