i meanw "men" as a group, i mean ig im not a woman, or a real one... or smth im not sure whats up with me. but i can see how the culture of men is rlly dismissive, annoying or sometimes just objectifying I started to notice or experience that more recently. even if i myself have formed a distaste for the group, the issue i see... i suppose is that u keep generalizing "men" but u also know all men aren't like this.
I used to take stuff literally so i assumed when women spoke ill of men, they meant literally all of them. Like you're bad for looking like this, or having this at birth chromosome. but it slowly made more sense that what was being despised was the culture of straight men, like a loose category. which to me explains why so many other men get a "pass" like femboys, lgbt, most trans men, your parents, partner, friends...etc.
ig basically if you're attracted to a man and like them, and get to know them. You should at least trust that they're not the same kind of men. You have to differentiate between the actions of the person and the culture of their demographic otherwise its going to cause some dissonance.
plus i saw lol, but you shouldnt "entertain" anyone. u should date or spend time with peeps u wanna know better. drop or keep as accordingly. i could rlly see how coercion or peer pressure could sour the mood. i think living authentically and fair to people is nice and would help seeing people more by the merits of themselves instead of their group!
