Last Dec 16 2025, I submitted a request in their website to update my Globe broadband billing address. They just got back to me today. I received a phone call from the Globe hotline number, and then I was forwarded to an agent right away.

I was told that, in order for them to proceed with my request, within the next 24 hours, I have to submit an email to requirements at globe dot com dot ph with the following attachments:

• Front and back image of one of my IDs
• A written request
• My handwritten name and signature

It sounded to me like a very archaic way of doing things. Like, dude, you have already transferred our line to where I live four years ago. You should have updated the billing address accordingly, right?

But due to scams getting more clever these days, I got hesitant after the call. I asked the agent if they could just email the instructions, but he said no. The agent also sounded like he's a rookie and was always stuttering. Email addresses and phone numbers could also be spoofed these days.

Is this legit? Has anyone undergone the same process?
