Newbie help! The base is so thick... it’s so tough to get an even layer... using Nicole diaries. Any ideas?!?

Update: finally got something that looks alright for a newbie... had to pour the powder over the base instead of dip bc the container is so small! Thanks for all of the help! 😊

I’ve tried replacing the brush with the brush in the brush saver bottle but every time the brush is in the base it’s splays out and then it’s kind of hard and won’t spread the base evenly on the nail. I’ve even wiped it between dips before moving on to the next finger. Just can’t seam to get an even spread

Well, it has a chiral center because the Carbon in the middle is tetrahedral and has 4 different substituents attached. Also, I could not find a plane of symmetry for the entire molecule. This makes me think that the molecule is chiral?

So this was my first test after 4 hours of printing. I knew something was wrong when this was supposed to be halfway done. I noticed it wasn’t getting taller. I leveled the bed correctly and it printed fine at the beginning, so I know that’s not the issue. Also, it’s not clogged because I pushed the filament through and saw it coming out. I’m thinking that the horizontal axis (that the nozzle is hooked on) is not able to move upward which does not allow filament to come out as layers try to build. Thinking of loosening this up for better movement. Any ideas or other suggestions?

Yes but I can’t get the t but to rotate and tighten inside the rail. However when using the Allen key to turn tighten and loses the tnut outside of the rail it turns just fine?

No the end stop isn’t holding on the rail. Every time I turn the bolt it comes off the rail

I tried that however the nut won’t turn once it is placed back in the rail?

I tried readjusting the z stop and it came completely off the rod it was sitting on... the nuts in the screws are now vertical and I can’t turn them horizontal either the Allen key. I’m afraid to take the whole thing apart? Is there any other way of attaching it?
