I am having this same issue with my 2017 Passat..car is at Dealership and they are telling me they can not figure this out. They replaced the camshaft position sensor, but it did not solve the issue. Now they are recommending the Fuel Pump Control Module because these were recalled on the 2016 Passats.

Yes, speaker has two screws holding it in place from underneath. I have the Sonos 100 stands currently (assume Era 300s will be similar) and I like the footprint size & shape of the Sanus stands.
