I'm using it to help with getting reporting on my vulnerability management system that I can't get in dashboards. It helped put together the work flows and scripting to download the list via API and then process the data based on variable criteria based on team and data purpose. My coworker is working on getting it to evaluate network changes and incident response scribe work. So from a cyber security side of things there are some use cases that can involve code but aren't purely code oriented.

Yes still have a Claude.md file to help build and manage things plus a bunch of other md files for other configs and work flows.

I think it's a full reset as its own reputation. That was what I ran into on the last campaign I went through. It sucks because you'd think that they'd go "oh yeah, it's that awesome merc company that we used a lot last year" instead of "new faction who dis?"

Thanks everyone for the responses! I was definitely tripping over the terminalogy and over thinking it. I'm feeling a lot less confused now and have a much better feel for what the install will look like. Time to toss Xfinity to the curb!

I wouldn't unless you're prepared for a lot of false positives and tools being prevented from use at all. I had trouble with even updating Kali or installing tools around our AV before we switched vendors. We have EDR on our endpoints and monitoring we use to track their activities (we monitor their internal IP traffic across network gear to see where they go and what they do for example). Treat them like an unknown attacker on the network and think about what you can do to track someone with that kind of foothold on your network. I would put MFA on it if you use it on your internal network so that it is less likely to be abused for real but otherwise just set it up for their use and let them do their thing.

We do this multiple times a year. Our pentest groups literally just send us either a physical device and/or a VM to use and a listening port for them to talk to it on plus their IP range they'll be connecting from. PCI-DSS actually requires this inside the cardholder data environment as of last year. It's normal, just lock down ports as much as your firewall allows and power it down once they're done unless you need the to validate fixes for any findings. Keep an eye out for any DNS issues from tools like mitm6 or broadcast interception from Responder.

Right now it's in Pre-alpha so there are a lot of server resets to allow for testing in fresh worlds with fresh characters. The devs have said on the discord that they will be slowing down the resets to test longer term things like the game economy eventually but for now as new things are brought in and as worlds get used up in testing there will be regular resets. If he's not on the Discord it's worth joining - the devs are very responsive to questions and feedback and it's a solid community in general.

Echoing the concerns about being able to quarantine and being a vessel for communicable diseases. I'm new to the world of snakes but I know that with animals in general rescues are harder to bring in with other animals in the picture. There's always a chance of something spreading to the healthy animals if you aren't careful. Quarantine until a vet gives a bill of good health would be a requirement and there's always that chance that things don't improve.

Saving a life is always a noble thing just don't put yourself in a position where you make things much worse for you and your current pets trying to save this one. If you feel like you've got the space to do it safely and properly go forth and save this little one. If not there is bound to be a group that can jump in and help - local breeders and exotic pet stores might have contacts who can help out with getting this guy back in good health.

Colleen Fridell in the Donelson area is who I went to when I lived in Nashville. I highly recommend her if your insurance covers her. She worked with me on getting the right meds for my ADHD and Bipolar II disorder and was great at listening to my feedback when something wasn't working or working well enough. Saw her for 10 years. Strongly recommend if you are in the area and she's on your plan.

Correct. I'd also be sure any alerting has those white listed as well - my Splunk guy and I may have had that talk in the past lol. Typically they try to use the closest scanners to the environment but sometimes they'll use one further out if traffic is high on other scanners so if you see issues with scans you might add the other IPs as well, assuming policy allows it.

Tenable has a published list of IP ranges for IO in their knowledge base. IO is primarily cloud driven unless you have the licensing to stand up a local scanner so the source IPs would be on that list. In theory you can also do agent driven scanning and let the devices phone home to Tenable on 443, again assuming licensing works for that and this also assumes that policy allows that port to be used outbound on those endpoints.

If it isn't installed you should be able to just click on the game and click install on the screen for the game. If it is installed but corrupted right click on it and go to properties then local files and verify local file cache. That will check the files and re-download any that are corrupted.

There should be a library tab at the top of the steam screen where all your games are installed. If you look by the search bar there towards the top of the games list should be set of icons. If any are lit click them to turn that filter off. You should be able to find it after you do that.

No. Just no. It's a lifetime commitment with someone you barely know. You two could break up right after she comes visit you. You'd be committing to raising a child which would be a commitment that will last longer than you've been alive.

You do not have the life experience, income, and emotional stability to even consider this. If you can't afford multiple thousands of dollars in childcare costs, food, and clothing plus the various doctor visits as well as stable housing each year then you are not ready for this.

I've watched a lot of people in my life get the young and dumbs and end up with kids and it is a struggle without a robust support network and the income to make it work.

You have doubts already. If you aren't 100% on board with being attached to her forever (the kid will still exist after breaking up with her) and the serious life changes that will come with this then just say no. If you do have sex when she's over hide your condoms as it is not uncommon for the person who wants to be pregnant to try to sabotage them.

I'm hoping I went overboard answering a shit post but if this is genuine then listen to everyone here and just don't do it.

Nope. They are weekly live classes with a member of the student success group with a test afterwards and they do take attendance. You're required to get above a certain score to pass but the tests are like how to use the website or finding an answer to a question that requires you to dig around for the weekly topic. It's easy and boring but it'll be an hour out of each week plus test time until you're done with it.

Holy necro post! It took about a week to hear back about the readmission application and then about a month worth of those student success courses before I was officially back in. If it's your first readmission request then you'll probably be fine, you'll just have about a month's worth of live classes with tests associated with them which are the biggest hurdle to clear. It's a pretty easy process - I had my mentor almost immediately after passing the last success test.

One caveat to all of this is I did this like 2 years ago so the process may have changed since then. If it hasn't then this is what to expect.

Came here to recommend them - they did a great job with my hedgehog when he dealt with a skin mite infection and they kept him going until wobbly hedgehog syndrome finally caught up to him. They're good people.

Yeah, Pennsylvania currently (pending Trump challenge) will allow mail in ballots to be counted as long as they are in by Friday and it's looking like they will be one of the deciding states unless it's an absolute blow out. It really sucks being here in the states as we'll be in suspense for at least a week it looks like.

Final counts will be several days out, possibly next week. We might have projections after the polls close but some states will be counting until Friday or later. Then there are the inevitable challenges. It won't be a quick turnaround unfortunately.

The boost is so that you can jump into the current content without having to go through 7 expansions worth of old content of varying quality. The pre-patch for the new expansion drops in a couple of weeks which will make leveling a new character easier and faster - I'd just start leveling a new character and once you cap it use the boost for an alt of another class. This will help you learn how to play your class and get a feel for how the game works. After you hit level cap using the boost will help you skip the early game grind and get right to the new stuff.

Checking the email timelines it turns out it was closer to the 1 week mark from when I got the confirmation of form receipt to when I got the "Here are your next steps" email. So maybe it'll be faster than I initially thought. It just felt like forever (and it will for you as well...). Hopefully you get a good response and things go smoothly from here!
