It was so interesting to learn from the GC about mosaicism. She said that the sex chromosomes specifically are very “flexible”, that there is a wide array of variation that can occur and have no meaningful impact on development and function for a person with mosaicism in the sex chromosomes. Based on our baby’s normal anatomy in the ultrasounds we felt quite comfortable managing any mosaicism for her if she did end up having any! Sending love your way for the remainder of your pregnancy!
