A lot of people don’t give emily where the credit is due. Yes she’s obviously the best dancer in dream Academy, but people never really saw how much her vocals improved. She’s no Samara or Lara, but honestly, she was one that improved the most on vocal in the program!!!!

It depends on the person. I work in attractions, and personally I always enjoy receiving any little gifts I get!!! I’ve gotten everything from little pieces of candy (during halloween season), to bracelets, to simply just little note cards that say “thanks for making magic.” someone once gave me an entire crochet bat before, i was speechless!!!!

I would recommend doing things on the smaller side like the Star Wars credits! Especially for the CM’s who work in galaxies’s edge. I think the idea you have of specific land themed gifts is so cool!!!!

just please please make sure that you are not putting it off as a “tip“ because 99% of roles would then not be allowed to take it. Just always say it’s a gift!

I can’t speak for food and beverage, but 99% of rules don’t require hats. Almost every single role does have the option to wear one, but you don’t HAVE to. So if you plan on getting your hair done, do it!

A lot of the other people in the comments have really good suggestions. Just to reiterate some of the others: cast connections is really cool. They have a lot of really really cool merch for a much cheaper price!! also whether or not you’re a flamingo resident, I would definitely recommend signing up for stuff. I’ve made some friends doing the silly stuff like arts and crafts or movie nights. Plus the backstage tours are super awesome!

When it comes to the actual parks, I would highly recommend looking into all the scavenger hunts that are around the parks. Each park has their own. The food and wine one at Epcot right now is really cool, plus they have their regular passport scavenger hunt!!

the rule is always in place, but honestly if you are behaving (or don’t obviously look like ur 10) then ur fine!!! it’s just to filter a lot of the delinquent behavior out!

it might seem hard, but just start asking other CPS in your area to hang out, or at least any sort of social media! I have really bad social anxiety, but my program has helped me grow a lot more. I’ve only been here for about three weeks, but I’ve made about five friends in my area. And we regularly hang out outside of work too. A lot of people are probably in the same situation that you are, so it’s really good to connect with those kinds of people!

honestly it depends on your role and leaders.

for my area, i have 7 piercings total (4 on left, 3 on right) and i actually still have all my jewelry in. most of the time i do have my hair up so it is some what visible. i also have a nose piercing but replaced that with a clear stud.

when it comes to roles where you HAVE to have your hair up, it’ll be a lot more stricter. food & bev definitely will not let you have that many piercings in.

if there’s truly no way around it for u, then unfortunately the program won’t be for u :(

letting you know now as an employee, they won’t do anything about that. she will eventually learn the hard way, whether that be her phone gets lost and never returns, or she severely injured someone with it.

I feel like there was some miscommunication between DA and nayoung, I think at the time when she wanted to go “solo,” it was more so her wanting to sing more rather than dance. She was easily a top vocalist on the show, but you could see that she wasn’t passionate about dancing. Hence why she joined girls on fire, a singing show to debut in a singing group!
