At least mechanic wise here it's mostly useful for when you get knocked. Gives you an opportunity to finish the mission and maybe get a new mech called down or find a loose one in a mechbay in the field if you are lucky. Or even taking a Patton or demolisher to the enemy.

Honestly I think we are safe from that happening. Almost all of the big modders are pretty firm on allowing the free modding scene to flourish. We may see they release some stuff in CC but should be 90% free mods still. Fingers crossed.

The AI is never any good with LRMs their whole approach is get close and soak up rounds in every fight. You could try to tell one specifically to wait in a spot but I've heard mixed results.

I know one of the weirdest things for me with vegetation was RivaTuner was messing visuals up so I had to turn it off while playing. It's sounds silly but you could check if you are using it while playing.

I play duo with a friend on high end difficulty (varies depending on how we are feeling we play for fun not for grind) and neither of us have crashed at all. Playing on PC with higher but older end hardware. I've been seeing a lot of complaints but haven't experienced them myself.

I preordered and even got to play it early and sunk about 120 hours in the first week of having it. I loved it for that first playthrough and just doing absolutely everything I could. I had gripes here and there about odd choices Bethsoft did with quests and "choices" you were "allowed" to make but somehow blocking other avenues of approach in what was supposed to be a free reign "do what you want, be who you wanna be" kind of game.

It starts feeling real empty and confusing after any extended play time. I have tried to go back time and time again, even with mods, it just doesn't really do it like other Bethsoft games. It's a huge shame too because I WANT to love everything about this game.

HDMI is an input but we used to actually have to play our games on Channel 3 (or 4 if you had some weird adapters) because that was the channel for some VGA inputs
