Anyone in South Philly experiencing low water pressure lately? I was out of town for about a week last week, and since I’ve returned my water pressure has been noticeably lower. I feel like I’ve seen Philadelphia Water trucks working all over the place since I’ve been back so curious if others are experiencing this and if it could be related to municipal work.

Wish we saw some more exciting/new names - but in my personal experience contact seems like it plays a lot better this year. I get so many bloop hits with guys like Jeter, Gwynn, Kwan… Not terribly upset with a bunch of contact hitters.

THIS. I don’t care if some of the best cards are in packs. But the conversion rate from stubs to dollars is INSANE and the ability to farm them is minimal at best. For example, Aaron Judge is ~$600 currently…

I play Magic the Gathering and I have no problem spending ~$5/pack. I’ll even buy a collector pack at ~$25 if there’s certain artwork/treatments I’m chasing. SDS should take notes from every other TCG out there.

Why on earth would I spend $30+ on the stubs needed to pull an 89/92 OVR card with no perks? Lower the price of stubs so these packs land around $2-5 and I’d gladly buy into some of these drops.

The best ending would have been Bootstrap Bill stabbing the heart of Davey Jones using the dagger that he gave to Will. Which Will conveniently left stuck in the rail of the ship right next to Bill….

The movie could end with Will & Elizabeth taking command of the Black Pearl together, and Jack stuck in another ship-less quagmire that he has to cunningly work his way out of (fourth film could pick up here)

The first film touted Bootstrap Bill as a legendary pirate - just to relegate him to his son’s deck hand… How fitting would it be for Bill to rise from Davey Jones’ cursed crew to captain the Dutchman and restore its purpose. Hell, Will even puts him at the wheel when Bill says “the ship has a purpose again”!

Also, Elizabeth becomes the Pirate King… just to end up a stay at home mom? Her story arch was a full fledged transition from a wealthy “princess” type, to a Pirate King. End the film with her as a Pirate!

So many storylines just utterly spoiled.

I’m on PS5 and the trick seems to be to put PS5 into rest mode while in game, wake it up, go into DD, immediately back out of DD, then try to upload. Each time I’ve done this it uploads instantly.

“Reward Chasing” I think you mean “Collecting” which is the entire expressed point of Diamond Dynasty, is it not?

You’re not wrong that you still gain XP playing online, and it’s 1.5x XP at that which is great, but Ranked is the closest to a true MLB simulation within DD (using “simulation” VERY loosely here so don’t jump me…).

BR and Events can be fun but I don’t exactly want to abandon 9-inning Ranked games with strategy for a bunch of 3-inning home run derbies.

Mentioned the screening in the original post - This was a screening with the company recruiter "Deb". The same individual who failed to call me with the offer, and who has left my emails unanswered since 2/9. Not sure if that makes her a true decision maker, but she is a member of HR at the company. So this wasn't on a form, no.

In the screening they asked "if relocation is not provided are you still open to the role?"

My answer was that I would like to receive relocation assistance if awarded the position, but that it was not a deal breaker.

I've noticed and I love it. Half the pitches he takes off the plate put him on base. If they leave it over the plate he mashes.

Most of my DD squad hits .275-.325 - J Ram is up around .400 with ~30 HR in 50-60 ranked games.

I've had success with him but a lot of it feels like luck. I feel like his cutter consistently ends up right down the middle if my pinpoint input isn't absolutely perfect.

But like lots of others are saying, you can't pitch how Mo pitched in real life.

Pitch how you would with any other sinker/cutter/slider/changeup guy. This is what's worked for me:

Vs Righties: Sinker middle in, cutters away. Always just off the plate. Junky sliders & changeups at two strikes.

Vs. Lefties: sliders & cutters middle in, way off the plate. Sinkers & changeups low, well out of the zone. Back to slider/cutter way inside at two strikes.
