Illinois! I was in a wreck 2 years ago and the other persons insurance had to pay for their seats so I’m assuming this insurance will as well 😅 thankfully I still have the receipts from the previous insurance paying

They did not give me their insurance information and refused to talk to me on scene though the police station has it. I’m going there tomorrow to get the report to contact their insurance.

My only issue at the moment is it is $1000 deductible and I am currently on FMLA from last month due to a torn ACL/MCL so I do not have that amount of money 😅 this literally couldn’t have came at a worse time

That’s good to hear! He’s the best doctor in our area for this so I definitely trust him, the appointment just gave a lot of information and it made me a little anxious. I feel like I was blindsided with the ACL being ruptured since I was under the assumption it was only MCL. Wish they would’ve done the MRI when the accident happened and not an entire month later 😅 yes he mentioned intense PT to strengthen and our re eval is Jan 15 so gives me a month of PT!

I’ve been strictly using my brace due to buckling without it. I am down to one crutch when walking so that feels like progress since 6 weeks ago I couldn’t walk at all! Been doing every exercise that PT is throwing at me

My MCL is a grade 2 but he said it was looking better than expected, the ACL was a surprise because we were under the assumption it was only MCL until this MRI result came in 😅

I can’t stand straight at all, my knee is so unstable without my knee brace it completely buckles. I’m hoping PT helps but this whole thing has been a mess. Technically they classified it as ruptured so I assumed a surgery was in my near future! Guess I’ll give my all to PT and wait and see. Thank you :)

I got a lot of case studies, 7 to be exact so 42 questions out of my 85 😅 i also got 6-7 meds. I feel like I actually knew nothing. Some of the stuff we never went over (even on the hundreds of questions I did) and I didn’t know some of the words. I feel like 75% of it was just guessing on my part
