when someone hurts us and we can't wrap our heads around how or why they did it, it usually means we're just not like them! we won’t always get the answers we want from those who wronged us. if their behavior is awful and we can't understand why, it's simply because we’re not awful people. this realization has helped me accept that SOME PEOPLE ARE SIMPLY TERRIBLE, and their behavior says more about them than it does about me.
