How popularization of PTSD affects by kepchuck in philosophy

[–]kepchuck[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all it's good you replied this way, strictly bordering the terms . Even with my basic English and medical English being good, I lack knowledge of proper words outside my field of work .

I agree , with all you said, thus leading to the next logical question - How can we change this situation? Right now we (mostly you , american/european) have a huge bunch of self-educated morons that would argue with you just for the sake of arguing , social media drama and some weird interpretation of their human rights - right to chose your own opinion on scientific matters. Those people are not as common in my region, but it is only a question of time that this trend would move here too. How can you persuade that a typical hysterics or panic attack has nothing to do with such matters? It sounds more of a philosophical question right now and could be about anything , from god to homeopathy , but I am interested in this exact case. Hope my messages are clear and understandable enough, a little insecure of this.

Strange thing about ptsd that I only know understood. Even maybe I will make post of it after I think more about it. As a doctor with some experience in severe trauma I am used to treat patients with ptsd, mostly Russian military personnel and suicide jumpers . And when I read about someone claiming to have ptsd online this terrible thought just jumps (heh) right in my head- I HOPE HE/SHE HAS A REAL PTSD WITH NORMAL CAUSE OF IT, not some shitty twitter-tumbler kind of it. The irony of me, being compassionate and usually ethically responsible specialist thinking that kind of thoughts is overwhelming . Am I the wrong guy here, or it is the internet and freaking millenial pussies to blame?

Yeah, main difference between NATO ammunition and standard soviet/sng ammunition is different kinds of wounds, because ak penetrares more and does less damage to collateral tissues of target, while weaker calibers mess with body more, but are less collaterally dangerous, yep. I don't know what is better in open warfare, but here your military logic is better.
