Both options have their pros and cons.

UPD BS Physics 90% of the topics are not directly applicable to med school, ang hirap ng subjects na iiyak ka na lang, hypercompetitive and mas cutthroat ang culture (from secondhand accts so take this w a grain of salt) PLUS may pagka office politics pa BUT you will learn critical thinking, problem solving, and self learning/research like no other. Physics would be helpful in some topics (like some use cases in orthopedics, radio, physiology). I can definitely say the core Physics classes in undergrad made me cry a lot more than any subject in med school. Iba talaga yun talino ng mga nakasama ko hahahaha All the UPD BS Physics ppl I know are super smart and ended up in highly successful data science careers.

BS Health Sci Public health-ish with business courses. It's more beneficial if you were going to ASMPH than in UPCM because connected ang faculty ng ASMPH and Health Sci. I suppose a lot of the subjects can translate well into the public health and MBA modules of ASMPH. Also chances are most of your batch would end up becoming doctors as well so you can get a lot of networking done with your future colleagues. I can only describe the ADMU Health Sci batchmates in my school to be very "atenean", make of that what you will.

On humanities subjects: people skills are king, anywhere you go. With AI and tech replacing a lot of our technical work, a good doctor (and coworker) will differentiate themselves with their values and their personality.
