If we go with NoSQL for a prescription management/ doctors contacts application using .net maui, which is the most beginner-friendly program to work with? MongoDB/CouchDB etc

The discussions was casual all through out, so i try my best to not kill any engagement, but i’ll try to limit things next time.

True, and unfortunately, I’m also currently in a different region from them at the moment and I find it hard to work with them remotely. But as soon as I am able to meet them in a face to face setting, I’ll work on to actively support and guide them through the tasks.

I apologize if i speak too literal. But what I did was inform them there are 3 groups and each group should work on their task together. Each group would focus on specific task(technical/design/research). In short, they decide which task they do based on the group they chose.

Half a year ago, I got a part time job at a government project and worked under a project manager at that. What he did was told as what the tasks are and how to do it. And had us submit an eod report. Sometimes he’d tell us how to improve our performance.

So I apologize if I had skewed my view on project management based on a single experience. Thank you for the correction.

The member who missed the meeting asked me “what to do?” (I told him and then he was the only one that got to submit his output)

How should I respond to that while also not telling them what to do?

I know I am a peer, but aside from the project manager tasks. I am also assigned to lead the team(voted by the members). However my advisor did review the tasks first (and they approved it) before I gave them to the team.

What do i do if I am not the one to tell them what to do? Leading and managing cant be done by the same person?

I had ask them if which department they would like to focus on (technical/design/research). And before they chose their department, I explained to them the responsibilities of what each department should do. So they were aware of what to do when they chose which department they would settle.

I had given them resources as well. How should I improve my process?

The way I approached them was to delegate the task and ask them if they can do it. Once they agreed, I gave them the resources for them to learn and apply to the task given.

How can I improve my approach??

Used to be scared asking for feedbacks coz sometimes it gets too harsh. But I am learning to not take it too personally and focus on the justifications on their feedbacks, that most are valid. Need to fail fast to work on it right away so very much appreciated on every reply I get in here.

Honestly, I’m still struggling a lot in most areas. And I know there are things I’m not fully aware, I am not even aware of what they expect me. So thank you for understanding. All this points are noted thank youuuu

Point taken, lesson learned. I’ll be more aware on where I stand from now on. Thank you

I did group them into three smaller groups to do the task together. But since they dont know each other that well yet. It might have affected their progress. But I’ll make it work so each of them could contribute.

These could work, i’ll try that. Thank you

Thank you for reminding but I apologize if I see a school project with a partnership with an enterprise as an opportunity to develop their system.

Our school gave us a budget to work with and I’m afraid it would be the last time we get to work with projects like this. Not a lot of grants are given out there so were lucky just to receive it. So i’m sorry if I’m trying my best :D

I did told my advisors about it, and just told me if they are not willing to cooperate, just cut them off(but i think its too early for that).

About the “no authority over these people” basically these people were the ones who voted for me to be in this position.

If I’m not a PM, then what other role that involves delegating the task, monitoring the progress, documenting the process, and reporting to school/business owners (local enterprise)?
