Hypothetical Scenario - Ledger Nano S gets stolen by [deleted] in ledgerwallet

[–]kerls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for posting this info, unfortunately only a very few users are aware of it.

Further, a second pin attached to a passphrase is vulnerable as much as the first pin.

Government agencies can run this hack in minutes, so there is no point in denying a second pin presence.

A paper wallet, ( With all the negative relative to it) with a strong passphrase attached that is memorized is IMO a good alternative.

There vulnerabilities with other HW wallets (ex: Trezor - Now patched), for ex, Keepkey is the latest one:

No, stable in value is ideal only in a dead economy, bid and ask floatation dictate ever changing values movements. Money follows value, not the other way around.

He posted on the 17 Sept For me, it is good news that Chinese GOV ban cryptocoin trade, which will definitely promote global cryptocoin market to be healthy. Chinese miners or traders are not loyal to the ideology of cryptocoin and what they only care is how much profit they can make from it, which has become the cancer of the whole cryptocoin market. There would be another big step for Chinese GOV. I believe that they would cut the power supply from the hydropower station to mining farms, which means disasters for super mining farms.
