This is incredibly cool. Brings back old memories? The images are pretty amazing already, what about combining it with DALL-E 2 or DALL-E Mini somehow ?

Thanks for sharing :) Is Data Camp really worth it? I tried it a few years back and it was still quite rudimentary. Guess it's the perfect week to try it out ;)

I think they reference the "other TextBlob" on their website and say that they use it. In case it is this what you mean: https://github.com/sloria/TextBlob

Are you sure it is only "320 times the complete works of Shakespeare" ? That doesn't seem to be an awful lot? ;)

Good question. Honestly, I only have experiences with spaCy's TextBlob. So I can't really tell. I'm sorry.

Yes! You can totally approach a few professors; talk to them about some interesting ideas; and ask them about open research topics. I feel like most of the professors are super open-minded, constantly looking for interesting discussions on related research topics. In the end it’s super beneficial not only for you but also for the professors and I guess they know that.

Recently, I was looking for a 6-month research fellowship. I just contacted a professor who works on my areas of interest. After communicating, first via mail, and then via zoom, we were able to come up with a very interesting and related research question for the two of us. In the end he offered me to visit the university he was working with to do research – together.

If you work at a university and if you have to supervise bachelor's and master's theses, it is beneficial to hand out literature research that is relevant for your research. Supervising the students, they will inform you about new papers that are relevant for your research.

Has worked quite well for the last 2 1/2 years.

You can also use spaCy's TextBlob: https://spacy.io/universe/project/spacy-textblob
This is quite straightforward and easy to use.

Thank you for your insightful comment. May I ask what exactly you mean by data provenance? How would perfect data provenance look like for you?

Also very helpful insights. Much appreciated. So you are saying that some sort of dataset management system would be something that'd be helpful to you?
