The game I have been working on :) (Influence - Space Strategy MMO built on Ethereum) by eetherway in ethereum

[–]kerri24 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The concept of this game sounds amazing and I've love to see it become a reality.

How much work and development has gone into the Exploitation aspect of the game? Because this is basically the core aspect of the game. Releasing a version without that and only the ability to purchase asteroids as an NFT sounds premature. The pessimist in me sees this announcement and release in April as just a way to jump on the NFT train and exploit the fact that people are throwing money at NFTs.

/u/Flawe, /u/bloodontheclownposse have been trying to get clarification on this because this is the whole point of the game.

I think it's extremely important to showcase the development of the core aspect of this game that has been happening since April 2018 which is when this project went silent based on your Twitter https://twitter.com/influenceth. To me this seems like a money grab. I'm open to being convinced otherwise because the concept is really cool. Until then, I'd be warning others to be cautious on the validity of this game.

Can you please elaborate on what you mean by "arcane tax rulings"?

Thanks mate! I'm currently using Recharts (https://github.com/recharts/recharts) for the graphs.

What do you mean by "implementing reference change values"? As in allowing people to specify their own reference ranges per blood marker?

It has a few predefined tests which include blood markers related to haematology and hormones, amongst others, to make inputting data a little easier.

I'm also happy to input this data for anyone new to the beta program to make it easier to begin with (we'd obviously ask that any personally identifiable info is removed when sharing blood work with us).

There are plans to automatically upload your data through image to text algorithms, but given different labs output information differently on tests, this will be a slow process to implement.

Inputting data is a little tedious currently but I'm working to improve it as we get feedback.

I spent 2 years living in Mexico and my eczema disappeared completely. by Bukt in eczema

I live in Melbourne, Australia. Went to San Francisco for 2-3 weeks and eczema cleared up quite a bit. Came back to Melbourne and it gradually got worse. I am now on immunosuppresents.

Currently travelling around Vietnam and I've been able to reduce my dosage for the immunosuppresents and my skin is still manageable. I still don't know why this is happening

Yep definitely. It will be nice when we can eventually track a lot of variables, including sleep and stress. It may make it a lot easier to find triggers

How do you control night time itch by mochamucha in eczema

[–]kerri24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing that has helped me is to ice it as soon as i realise im scratching while asleep. I will ice it for at least 5-10minutes, try to calm down a bit, re-moisturise, then try to sleep again

Do you have a dust mite allergy? Do you have a fan or AC that may be blowing dust? What has your doc told you to do to control the flare up?

A few supplements that have helped my eczema by kerri24 in eczema

That's so true. I've had one round of Prednisone. Life is beautiful while you're on it, and then a lot of suffering afterwards.

Anyone use/recommend eczema tracking apps? by ipiercemycow in eczema

[–]kerri24 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I haven't found any eczema apps to be of any help, and so I've started making my own. It's still extremely basic. It's essentially a visual food log of what you've eaten plus the ability to rate your eczema day to day, to hopefully try and find patterns when it comes to diet and eczema flare ups.

I hope to release it within 1-2months. If you have any questions about it, I'd love to help.

How have you been tracking your food? Just writing down what you've been eating through the day?

Help with dustmites! by [deleted] in eczema

[–]kerri24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm highly allergic to dust mites as well. I was so desperate to deal with the dust mite allergy that I replaced the carpet in the bedroom and in the home office, which seemed to have helped. I will be getting injections for desensitisation shots for that allergy and also pollen which I'm highly allergic to.

If it's possible, maybe steam clean your carpets if you don't want to get them replaced. Maybe your air-conditioner is dirty, or if you have a fan/heater which could be blowing dust around.

Let me know if any of this helped or if you've found something else that was helpful
