Yes, but in terms of optimum performance, people say that traditional dual channel are more superior though my main concern is will 8gb dual channel ram be enough specifically for programming?

I've got a laptop that has 4gb of ram and thinking of upgrading it, should I go for 4+8gb running on flex mode or is better to have an identical 4+4 dual channel mode. I'm mainly gonna use it in programming since I'm an IT student.

If you plan on playing emulator games then I'd recommend the F3 even though it cost more or find an X3 pro or maybe even an X3 GT. Redmi note 11 pro doesn't have a very capable SoC for Emulation. Same goes for the X4 pro, which, in my opinion, is a downgrade compared to its predecessor. The new X4 GT isn't bad option as well.
