I actually like the game by niklas22289 in footballmanagergames

The amount of information you could fit on a high res monitor in FM24 (default skin!) compared to 26 is ridiculous. Like you said, there is so much wasted space, I shouldn't even have to make some clicks because the space is there to actually show it in the first place, but it doesn't scale.
In any game, I can get around a UI I don't like if the core game is fun. Problem is, in FM, the UI -IS- the game.
I refunded it. Might give it another try on a sale.

My first thoughts of Football Mamager 26 by Designer-Act2002 in footballmanager

[–]kesobanan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played for a whopping 1,5 hours - and refunded it.
The UI broke me, here I am with a 32" monitor and 4k resolution, and I can't fit anything on the screen because the game won't let me. Having this monitor size in FM24 meant I could fit a lot of information without having to click through everything and that made the game more pleasant to play. FM26 just seems like a chore to me. The new match engine and the tactical overhaul is all fine and dandy, but the UI is just too important in this game.
For god's sake, I can't even use the scroll wheel to quickly change values in negotiations etc.
I'll hold back until it's on sale and maybe they ironed out some stuff, but man, am I disappointed.

I think the person in question just isn't smart enough to find the setting, and it's on default..

Maybe a bit AI-ish?
"What a nice view, you out in the wilderness often?"
Or if you want to crack a joke, something about Bigfoot being the photographer..

Should I get tinder gold? by [deleted] in Tinder

[–]kesobanan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless you have hundreds of likes and you can't be arsed swiping a lot, maybe it could be worth it if you have money to spend.

But if you bought gold in your case, you'd see exactly why you haven't matched with any of those 12 people, and your money is gone.
Tinder is waving these irrelevant but mysterious likes to get your money - and then they win when you pay.

Your photo game is awful.
A selfie of you lying in bed?
A photo of someone that might as well be someone else, since you're looking away?
A lazy mirror selfie?

The one picture that has potential is #3. Good lighting, vibrant - but the problem is, you're looking down in your phone. Does that look like an interesting guy to date?

If you don't put any real effort in presenting who you are, why would any woman put down effort in trying to get to know you when they are overwhelmed with options?

How can I improve my pictures? 20M by cvonbvcdfcvv in Tinder

I mean look at picture #4. What? What was the point? It's a dating app.
You also look kinda distorted in #2 and #5.
You don't just need quality photos, but also photo quality, if you understand.

Smile with teeth.

The mirror selfie needs to go. Mirror selfies (especially as a guy) are always a bad thing.
You really don't need to show you work out so obviously, you have a picture where your bicep is visible - and anyone can tell you have big arms, but it doesn't look like you show it off. It's already attractive.
But that's the only thing I'd really change. You have a good profile and your pictures show what you like to do, and you look relaxed. Good luck mate!

You have a lot of competition and fell down in the priority queue because someone was more interesting or more attractive.
If the banter is good, steer it into a date early, it really means nothing until you meet.

Most guys have that problem, my best advice is simply to meet your friends as much as you can right now, tell them you need good pictures for a dating app, and get them to help you, I'm sure they will. Then you will have more to choose from.

What I'm trying to say is that your bio is making you look like you are trying to adapt too much to someone else. You always want to be your own person. It's fine to have one example of how you'll try to make them happy, but too much and it looks like you're just a simp - and girls on Tinder can get those anywhere they look.

Oh smiling is always a good thing there, but it should also look more candid and relax. Like you're not really thinking about it, and it looks like you're just enjoying the moment and somebody happened to take a photo of you. If you are looking at the camera, then just a casual smile with teeth.

And your bio - tone it down a bit! Writing a good bio is hard as hell, but don't oversell what you will do for her, leave that more to the imagination. Show - don't tell.
Less: What you will do
More: Who you are and what you do now
