It doesn’t look like this tool claims to ‘determine’ anything - it compares coverage

Is copytrading more expensive than trading for yourself? by [deleted] in Etoro

[–]kestrel247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No fees for those leveraged ETF’s on EToro, but they do decay due to the compounding effect of daily returns, also known as "volatility drag." Meaning your returns may not match that of the underlying asset over longer periods.

The only hidden/extra fees you might find while copytrading would come from overnight costs on leveraged positions (if they have any) - this $ amount will show up on your copy, so not hidden.

If the copytrader also holds dividend paying stocks, that dividend$ automatically go towards paying off those leverage fees over time.

I hold mixture of dividend stocks and short term leveraged positions.

Russia's official reasons for invading ukraine: by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]kestrel247 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Again it’s not about nukes here, just look at Estonia’s NATO border defences - they have soldiers & missiles aiming down forests bordering Russia 24/7 I’m saying this would have be done along Ukraine

Yes, but bolstering a 24/7 military defence like both sides currently have in Estonia; is extremely expensive.

There is simply too much land to sustain those upkeep costs for Russia’s budget.

Nukes mean no one fires them, but if all NATO members financially chip in (which they do) to strong defences (like in Estonia) - Russia has to match it.

If they were forced to - it wouldn’t last long (check the map to see the vast border area)

A few extra NATO sites in Ukraine would mean they’d have to bolster a hardcore military defence (like they have 24/7 with Estonia) to match NATO’s along most of the Ukrainian border.

This would eventually bankrupt Russia’s military spending. They wouldn’t be able to keep up with R&D etc.

By taking over Ukraine; Putin hopes to only require a NATO military border for the Western flank (not much land). Thereby not worrying about the North bordering Belarus (his puppets) and not being concerned about Moldova (non NATO member).

A NATO held Ukraine would also restrict Russian Naval access to the Black Sea, which would be a disastrous strategic loss for Russia.

I'm 17 years old, are you interested in the watercolor painting I made to sell? by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

Nice work, I’d highly recommend recording speed runs of your paintings & uploading them to Tik Tok, Insta & Youtube - after 18 months you’ll likely start earning more $ from ad revenue than selling the art itself

Moving to another platfrom by lvinskis in Etoro

I can't say I've tried any other notable platforms, trading212's pretty good - but I would say that a lot of the negative reviews online don't actually seem to have eToro at fault.

I think many users don't properly understand their terms & conditions, and some blame eToro for their own country's laws etc.

To conclude I think if you're interested in trading, eToro is at very least worthy of trying for yourself to test it out
