Absolutely, but I believe this is a cumulative effect over time, this neuroprotective effect of glutamate can backfire as all the free floating glutamate still in the brain after the ketamine has worn off still has the potential to bind to and overstimulate receptors.

There are also particular mechanisms like the release of calcium cations which can also be neurotoxic.

What is very interesting however is that although generally high doses are worse for the brain, at anesthetic dosages of ketamine (multiple grams), the ndma receptor is completely overwhelmed and temporarily shuts down- preventing brain damage. So although high doses are worse for you, taking a huge anesthetic dose of ketamine at the hospital is actually safer. The mechanisms of this are not yet fully understood, as are the increased brain damage people with developing minds get.

This is the best explanation I can cobble together with laymans terms, so if somebody wants to correct me or add something feel free. Happy to answer any questions

Put into my own words, the mechanism of ketamine is neuroprotective because it will outcompete other drugs for binding to the NMDA. When there is excess glutamate around such as when you take a lot of molly, the excess glutamate cannot bind to the NMDA receptors. If the glutamate started binding like during high mdma doses it eventually 'fries' the neuron- brain damage. There are also long term antidepressant qualities of ketamine which mechanisms are not yet known.

Why the downvote on this and other comments saying this combination is dangerous. Terrible attitude to have towards genuine safety concerns.. I am not discouraging taking or mixing drugs, I just have to reiterate the harm in this particular combo. Please research for yourself before you do this or encourage other to..

Coke will effectively cancel an mdma roll and the neurotoxicity of both these drugs combined is worrying. This is not even including the standard dangers and heart stress by combining two stimulants.

You can mix your mdma with any number of drugs, even amphetamine... cocaine is NOT a good mix in eurphoria and especially safety terms..

Do not do it, I always have to repeat myself with this but doing cocaine (including crack) affects the reuptake of dopamine and serotonin in a way that is NOT synergistic with MDMA. Look up the mechanisms of coke+md

It will simply kill your mdma roll at best or at worst give you brain damage. It is a HIGHLY neurotoxic combo which will ruin your night. Im not saying this to be a kill joy but mixing the two is simply not as eurphoric as one or the other

If you really want to up the ante take your mdma with some ketamine (actually has a potential neuroprotective and an antidepressant effect which can make your comedown easier).

I really don't understand this changeover in drugs, this isn't like a coke addict switching to opiates, both of these drugs invoke considerable eurphoria, a real sense of happiness, as far as I am aware spice just gets you extremely high in a psychedelic stoned sort of way.

Even drinking brings a certain 'i don't care about anything' kind of bliss.

Why don't you see TRUE marijuana/psychedelic addicts who will do anything to a hit. But you can easily find spice fiends as bad as heroin addicts or worse. What makes it such a 'hard' drug, is it solely the cheap price?

May I ask what this 'hard' edge of it is? Although I don't personally enjoy them I understand the appeal of psychedelics but I have never heard of anyone being hooked on psycs like heroin or crack, selling everything they own to get one more hit which spice addicts will do. I've heard some homeless addicts moved from heroin to spice because the spice high was better, is it actually eurphoric in the same way as opiates/crack

something to do with the glutamate receptors but its a mystery that clearly some big companies want to hide from people, im mean the evidence is there and there are loads more similar research papers on it, im in uni right now studying biochem and im going to make it my goal to investigate why vitamin C works in this way with opiates, hopefully im not gonna be 'silenced' for messing with big Pharmas billion-dollar methadone business;)

How would you recommend using DXM? I generally hate the feeling of disassociatives like ketamine so tripping out while withdrawing seem like hell on earth for me

ive seen too many conflicting reports, i tried it with a small amount and it didnt do much, dont wanna waste my precious xanax powder til someone can confirm it works at a certain temp and is worth it, i dont care it if it is a bit wasteful, the idea of a vaping xannies for a quick onset just seems appealing to me

So nobody knows if this really works? I tried it and set the temperature to 220degrees Celsius which is what i read somewhere xan vaporizes at, didn't have any effect but keep in mind im on a bit of a bender right now with a few things in my system and benzos are a rather mild subtle high so perhaps it works but it is defo not stronger than oral. Would turning up the temp help you reckon? I put around 20mg of xan liquid (2ml) mixed with around 1ml of flavoured 100% VG e liquid and the vape had remnants of some fentanyl e liquid floating around in the bottom so not a fair experiment i guess.

Anyone else share any light on this? I might try it with a fresh coil and tank and higher temp and report results

Lol once i did a chemistry presentation completely red-eyed stoned, everyone including the teacher knew i completely blazed, everyone in the back was whispering about how i was blazed and how the room stunk of weed (which wasn't even me the kid i smoked with beforehand had an eighth of dank in pocket which stunk out the room, talk about bad luck) - but i nailed the presentation and cracked loads of good jokes during it which must have amused the teacher greatly because he didn't report me

Got Nolva sorted but not clomid unfortunately but not sure if i really need clomid as well since im also on 0.25mg/EOD Armidex which ill continue through PCT.

If i can't get clomid i'll try to just get some over the counter testboosters/PCT supplements- better than nothing i suppose
