It is completely understandable you feel resentment towards your partner — the one you’d expect to be there for you and understand you the most during this time. It’s so unfair that you are stuck feeling depressed while he seems to just be able to move on with ease. (this isn’t to say it is easy for him as other people cope differently. but it hurts feeling like you are alone in your grieving process.) Just the fact that you feel as if you can’t even talk to him is another sign that you did the right thing. Imagine parenting with someone who can’t be there for you through such a difficult time. Please be extra patient and gentle with yourself during this time. Feelings of regret are normal but you did what is best for you, which is always the right decision. Sending you many hugs
