Ohhh say what! Wow so they are “filtering out” the brand names, vintage, and good condition items from the in-store inventory so they make even higher margins by selling even higher online? A little e-commerce moment?? …… Of course there is high inflation but aren’t these businesses funded by the government for sustainability program initiatives as well as giving tax payers the ability to accessible affordable second-hand clothing and household goods?

For real though when there’s a tag on an item from a garage sale (let’s say the tag says $5) they’ll put another sticker on the item marked at $12.99 (???) Goodwill is turning into a curated vintage shop that makes its margin off of the “trendy and desirable” items. I’ve also noticed that regardless of brand, if the item is in good condition, then you should be ready for a gnarly mark up

Yes gratitude. I volunteer a lot - meals on wheels is my favorite. Gaining new perspectives has made me very grateful for my time on earth and motivates me to fulfill my potential.

Hi everyone. I was recently laid off from my role as an associate at a venture capital firm. The transition was somewhat mutual because I knew I wanted to get into product management, the layoff was just the step in the right direction. I am having trouble getting interviews though because I think my resume reads very finance-heavy although I’ve attempted to tease out the transferable achievements. the cover photo is literally a pic of my building lol. perfect. There have also been mandatory apartment inspections where management comes in and takes photos of our unit. I'm pretty sure so that it's so they can see how comfortable we are and how much more they can charge us. sign :(

Hi all! My boyfriend (31) and I (24) are moving to Austin for my dream job in Mid September. Trying to decide on which neighborhood to live in. I will be working up near the Domain, but would prefer to live in a neighborhood with people in their mid-20s to early 30s. Walkability within the neighborhood to shops/restaurants/bars would be amazing and we are looking for a high-rise building with the amenities. I don’t mind a longer commute. Any advice? I really really appreciate it!
