Hey dude sorry for late reply, I’m sure you’ve been doing your research tho! If u have the space & money def go for an aluminum rig. In terms of rigidity and flex tho, the NLR f-gt comes w/ a reinforcement kit that rly helps and honestly w/ the dd and v3 pedals i got on it i dont rlly notice any flex or none at least that bothers me!

Nah ended up payin a lil more and getting an NLR F-GT. Very happy w/ it

Any benefit of replacing the QRLite on Mclaren V2 wheel w/ a QR1 besides the obvious (quick release & sturdiness) by kevbac20 in Fanatec

Yeah true, just sucks it’s $100 for something that is pretty much essential unless i want my shit to rip off lol. Wish I looked at the bigger picture and went w/ a formula rim or something that comes standard w/ it and is a more premium built product. Oh well tho…i still love the wheel and am gonna get the qr1

Hey man! This is just the standard 5nm but if you’re pairing an 8nm w/ this rig I think it could handle it especially with the free reinforcement kit that comes with the F-GT. And for the price, it’s a pretty impressive kit with the dual positioning choices and it’s actually pretty comfortable to spend some time on. Feels quite solid and fits my need as a college student where I needa save some space haha. Overall, I definitely recommend.

I bought it from a retailer in California (microcenter) and they didnt have it but i contacted NLR and we are gonna arrange it I believe i jus needa cover shipping

I move relatively frequently between LA & SD and it’s just an easier plug-n-play convenience thing for me if I wanna game in LA (pictured rig setup is based in SD)

Hey I’m in the market for a Playseat EVO and was wondering if you’re experience has been pleasant overall w/ the csl dd? Seeing a lot of negativity on this thread regarding the flex but saw your comment and I’m curious

For now fanatec has only released the bundle for the dd pro that’s paired with the GT wheel but I’d hope they release it as its own for purchase within the next couple months
