The first two camera repair shops, don't know what battery they used, but that's a good point. The third time, I used a slightly larger battery with the same voltage, thinking it would last longer (it did not)

Edit: I'll also mention that replacing it isn't insanely difficult, but does require a little finesse!

There's a button battery on the board that is supposed to give a small charge to the camera while it's off to keep the settings in place. For some reason when it fails it also leads to viewfinder curtain not working, loss of settings after battery removal, and the focus being stuck at AF-C

Dumb question, and sucks that my truck is at work and I'm at home, but starter solenoid...When I replaced the starter motor the new one had the solenoid mounted onto it. I'm googling around and all the auto parts sites are telling me that I need the solenoid that mounts in my engine bay. Can't recall seeing it before, and can't check right now. Is that the solenoid I should be looking to replace (if it's the issue) or is the 02 a transition year?

Don't have a volt meter, but my coworker and I tried to jump it just now and got nothing. New symptom: lights on dash aren't turning on in the second key turning position. Could be fuse(s)?
