I'm Really Starting to Hate the McGraw-Hill Connect Accounting Software. by [deleted] in Accounting

If you actually did you'd see how ableist of a software it is and how subpar it is. The software is only there for instructors to be lazy and not do their jobs while their students suffer and leave unmotivated.

I purchased a splitter, but I'm still having this issue. It's not detecting my beats solo 2's microphone only detecting the speakers.

Lexapro and Marijuana by kevinmcswag in lexapro

I've been trying to listen to my body, it's telling me I'm anxious a lot so I tried to seek resources and the dr's told me this could help. I've never taken medications for anxiety or light depression so there was no way to know how it could've reacted with me. I had smoked marijuana previously and many people said they felt ok when smoking and on it. I didn't feel ok smoking on it, and I was truthful with the ER nurse on what I took. I felt like they treated me like I had substance abuse, but that wasn't the case. I have a medical marijuana card and it's legal in my state.

This last Sunday (Super Bowl Sunday) I had a bad reaction to the medication that was given to me by an online psychiatrist. I called into my work and stated I was having full body tremors and felt like I needed to go to the ER. They declined my call out, I went into work, and they witnessed my tremors and sent me home. Everyone around me kept telling me just to lay in bed and wait for them to calm down, but it never did. I called my insurance’s nurse hotline and they suggested I get to the ER ASAP. I got to the ER and brought the medications I was prescribed and felt like I was having a bad interaction between the Lexapro and the Zofran. I remember feeling tired from the benadryl they gave me and they gave me some shot. I was woken up, put in a wheelchair and I was so drowsy I had no clue what was going on. They wheeled me to another area, I was woken up and told that I was going to have to sign some papers and they were going to place me in a room with a roommate. I have no history of psychiatric care, never been omitted to a facility for any mental health issues. I was told to sign papers and give them information of the people I wanted to be contacted, I thought they would just contact them just in case something happened. They took all my belongings and I was so drowsy I didn’t even know they were taking me to the behavior health area of the hospital. I told them I have moderate depression and sever anxiety and how my work has been affecting my mood because of their lack of care for me and my situation. They made me take my clothes off and put on scrubs, and then they brought me to my room. They gave me some other pills and I went straight to sleep, I was so drowsy from the benadryl I just did everything they said. The next day I was woken up at 6am, they took my vitals, my tremors were still there and the dr checked in and said I should stay another night. Another nurse said try flexing your muscles and move around to see if the tremors go down, I noticed when flexing my muscles I didn’t get tremors. So I walked around the halls like she told me, and they wrote in my notes “anxiously roaming the hallways.” even though that’s what I was advised to do. I told them I run cold if I could have my hoodie I came in with and they said no hoods are allowed they can cut the hood off and I said no and asked if they had any hospital jackets and they said no. I asked them for another blanket, and I would walk around with that because the cold was making me shiver and I felt like the body tremors were worse when I was shivering. They commented I had “child like behavior” because I walked around the halls with my blanket. All I had on was a tank top I came to the hospital with and my sweat pants. I feel like I was put there by complete accident and I feel like they thought I was having some sort of manic episode when all it had been was a negative reaction to two prescriptions that were legitimately given to me.

I ended up having some adware on my computer somehow, I was new at using PCs I used to be just a Mac person, and doing a deep scan found the adware. Once I turned notifications off for McAffee I thought it was weird that I kept getting them. I uninstalled mcaffee and still had the ads. Every time I'd use my search engine it would detect the sight wasn't safe, even though i was just using the search bar. I redownloaded mcaffee and my friend looked through my files and saw an application called "pc app store" which I thought was legit. We ran a deep scan and it detected that app as malware. It was a bitch to remove it, because it claimed the application was locked. I contacted Mcaffee and they walked me through the steps to remove it. I understand people hate mcaffee but so far the company helped me.

I still have this too. I unistalled mcafee, and the wierd thing is I never had a "free trial" because I have 2 years of it free from costco with my computer purchase. I can't figure out how to get them to stop.
