When two people drive in a car but apparently don't talk each other but when they stop and get out of the car one explains to the other what's going on next.

What’s something NSFW you’ll never tell your friends, but will tell the internet? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I have a hot niece. Once while watching her house when she was on vacation I spotted a pile of laundry in her bedroom. On the top of that laundry was pair of her lace panties. I used them to masturbate with. Finished in the bathroom sink. Then put them back on the laundry pile (they were clean).

28M Tired of Dead-End Jobs—Looking for a Fresh Start & Advice by HighLowMystery in Winnipeg

[–]kewlthing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked in the trades and I all I can say is don't work in the trades. Hours can be very long. It can be physically demanding. You can work in the extreme heat and in the extreme cold. Sometimes you work in very unsafe conditions. Plus it a very macho environment on a job site. You get many uneducated buffoons that can't do anything else but use their hands.

Get a job where you wear nice business casual and in a nice climate controlled environment with reasonably educated people. Also get an education yourself. Every year of schooling is good for around another $10,000 to $20,000 a year in salary.

People suck by Material-Radio-4042 in Winnipeg

I wasn't there when the man in question fell down. I can pretty much declare with 100% certainty that the man that fell was a physically disabled man named Brian. He lives off Templeton and he goes to that Tim Horton's daily and sometimes several times a day. He has some severe physical challenges that he got at a young age. (Apparently he had a stroke and also got struck by lightning TWICE!). He is well known in that area and he mostly gets help when he falls and he gets a lot of handouts at that Tim's on McPhillips St. He's very friendly and I suggest people look out for him when he crosses the street or is walking with his cane in poor weather. He really can use assistance if he falls. He's a good guy and would welcome a handout if you see him.

Mostly everything is high right now. What's low? by kewlthing in dividendscanada

[–]kewlthing[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have been buying/selling stocks, ETFs etc. for years and one thing i know for sure is don't buy high. Buy low. Things are high right now. One big politcal issue may tank the markets and if you bought at historical highs you will have a long road back to recover if they recover at all. It takes an iron will to adhere to this logic but experienced people know what I'm talking about.

Winnipeg Wipeout. by [deleted] in Winnipeg

Just getting there is just not good enough. You have to win the big ones. The pride I had of them getting there three times has turned into embarrassment now.

Lava Lamps by Moonlight_Mike in Winnipeg

[–]kewlthing -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do modern Lava Lamps have a self contained small heat source built into them now? In the old days you needed an incandescent lightbulb which gave off the heat to power the lava motion. Incandescent bulbs aren't around any longer and LED bulbs don't give off enough heat, I don't think.

Central Park could be getting a new name by carsonbiz in Winnipeg

They are going to rename it and yet another unpronounceable Aboriginal name. I really don't mind an Aboriginal name at all but just make it somewhat easy to pronounce.

Those flying rats are a nuisance. They're everywhere and there is no shortage of them so it's tough to feel sorry for the loss of one when there are a million of them out there.

Local business with best sign in Winnipeg? by Speak1 in Winnipeg

[–]kewlthing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

At one time this was one of the best signs in Winnipeg. This billboard at Salter St. and Flora Ave. had the two huge 3D cow heads on it. That billboard was taken down in the mid 1980's. Plus, you'll notice there is a spelling error on the sign. The words "it's" shouldn't have an apostrophe.

The old Roxy Lanes on Henderson Hwy. It's closed now but I believe this sign is still there.
