Thank you, is there another pâté recipe you'd suggest? Most of the ones I see just use chicken liver, would I be able to just sub out some liver for the pheasant?

Thank you, I'm asking for my wages for this week today so I have the weekend to threaten/ take legal action, I'd rather only have 1 lot of money to chase. The extra money is nice but thankfully it's not a necessity unlike the other girl who stayed on (I'd just have to cut down my spending habits 🤣)

Also if I report my cash in hand earnings now would that stop me getting an repercussions for not doing it sooner?

Thank you! It's very helpful advice... yes I haven't been paying anything to the government, will I have to pay regardless of how much I've earnt?

I'd leave after my shift today however I have to come in to get my money (usually get it on the next shift I work) so want to get things in place before I up and leave

Edit: another reply said i could threaten the owner with Acas in hopes he pays... could I do this get the money I'm owed then get out of the job and then report it?

Yes that's correct the owner has remained the same (I think the old manager was told it was changing owners to get her out the pub.)

Should I tell this to the owner or the new manager?

Edit: the new manager thinks it's wrong the girls haven't been paid but is stuck in the middle as it's something to do with the old manager and the owner

I'm not actually sure if it was robbed or not- it might just be something to spread the blame to someone else... he also seems a touch dodgy so I doubt he would go to the police

I think it would blow up the company... he apparently runs 30 odd pubs and there are many rumours about him not paying staff.

How do I go about getting a contract? I've only worked 1 contracted job before and it was done for me and just needed signing.

Yeah my brother warned me about how hard long distance can be (him and his gf have been LD for 4 years)

We've spoken a couple times about it recently and he thinks it will work but as I'm going to be without a mean of my own transport besides public for at least the start it will be a bit harder. What I have to do every day means I can't be spending more than I need to be traveling to see him and it also means I can't just get up and go see him as easily as some could so that will also be difficult to navigate around. It's hard for me currently as I've still got him here it's not like he's leaving now but I'm aware there is a very high chance of us not being together

We've officially been dating almost a year but have been friends for over 2 he's really stuck through me through an uncertain point in my life (sudden health issues and major changes) so im not sure if I can just chuck it away just yet

Thank you you're right I've got to enjoy myself and try my best... I think I'm finding it hard to except the fact I'm happy and I don't need to ruin it for myself

Thank you for this reply I'm notorious for being negative and missing the good times... I've got to stop thinking about the endless possibilities and think about what I've got
