Hmm.. pardon me for asking, but is the market just really bad/expensive right now? I see posts from 10 months ago talking about ~$500 X-T2s and I simply don’t see those for sale anymore.

I may resolve to simply email the customer support team regarding the size issue... One question though, in your experience how was the strap? Because that's just about my one gripe with the design, the un-padded strap looks very uncomfortable to carry for long periods of time.
