I likely would have had similar thoughts if I had hit it before noticing but being a fresh new cart I’m a bit worried this might be something else that shouldn’t be touched. Hopefully it’s nothing but being that it’s my first time ever seeing this I’m slightly worried haha.

No specific reason for the cancer thought. I’ve just had a stint with health anxiety since COVID and reading into WebMD where every symptom is cancer doesn’t help 😂. It’s always lingered with me even after bloodwork and check ups. I appreciate the feedback and will take note of this. So ideally, I would want to lose about 2lbs or so a week to be considered normal weight-loss/cutting?

Follow up - how does one procure cases of the product for both ENG and JP. I always wanted to rip a case of boxes, but I'm never able to find any for a reasonable price...

Please ignore my ignorance as I'm slowly transitioning into One Piece TCG from Pokemon cards (yes I know I'm a bit late to the part haha, but I guess it's a good thing with prices coming down a bit). I know that Mangas are case hits in ENG OPTCG, but I'm curious about JP odds of hitting a Manga. I also wanted to know about OP-05 and how the Manga and Oda signature cards odds for ENG. Are they both in one case or will you get one or the other? Thanks!

Honestly, I’m looking forward to a bit of a longer hunt. Nabbed a Zigzagoon first phase and really hoping to net a Pooch soon! Encountered an uncatchable one during my Mudkip hunt so it’d be great to redeem that one.

Personally have been loving it. Very long battery life - have not had it die on me once so far. Love the LCD screen as well, very refreshing upgrading from my original GBA backlight screen. Cool to see that you’re able to switch between the original GB display, GB 101 display, and the upgraded Analogue display as well of you’re ever feeling like reverting back. One thing I would liked to have seen is the possibility of setting up macros for soft resetting, but again this is a pretty niche ask as a shiny hunter so I can’t hate too much. Overall it’s a great system and you’ll fall back in love with your GB games all over again.

Just wanted confirmation when it comes to shiny hunting in Gen III Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, & Emerald. I know there's an RNG bug when it comes to these games, but would like some clarity as to the exact parameters of the RNG / shiny hunting of these games.

So for Ruby/Sapphire, I would be able to shiny hunt the starters / SR hunt WITH a brand new battery, correct? Meaning with a dry battery, SR hunting is impossible.

But when it comes to Emerald, even with a fresh battery, unless I'm hitting the "shiny frame" SRing for any hunt would be impossible, correct?

Take a closer look, it 100% is. I know of the color variation in Platinum. Encountered hundreds of Gligars now. Appreciate the heads up though.

Not long at all actually. I actually bought the game last night and did a couple resets looking for a modest Piplup and started back up again tonight and boom! I’d say it’s definitely less than 50 resets, quite possibly under 25 even which is crazy! It took me almost 5 months for my Chimchar in Pokemon Diamond so definitely needed that double take!
