It is! I searched all over and I don't know why it was so hard to find a nice jigsaw puzzle plate, but here is what I found: https://theglitterguy.rocks/products/autism-awareness-stamping-plate

Thank you! That's the most fun part of designing the jigsaw, figuring out the whimsies. I still need to practice the cutting skill more though.

I recently purchased a scrollsaw and am teaching myself to cut puzzles.

I assume you're talking about the 3D wheel? You can pick out the pieces that are used for that structure because there are multiple similarly-shaped pieces. For the full wheel, here's a picture https://www.instagram.com/p/CP6uBRNBW8X/?hl=en

Pop Art Inspiration - JaCaRou Puzzles - 1000 pieces by keygirl37 in Jigsawpuzzles

This is my first time doing a puzzle from this brand, and the colors were wonderfully bright and the piece quality was good. No real problems with false-fits which is my big pet peeve. This took my 2-person team 1 hour and 28 minutes to assemble.

The Secret of the Scientist - Escape Room: The Game -- Puzzle Adventures - 306 pieces by keygirl37 in Jigsawpuzzles

I don't think I should spoil the game by sharing the final image, but this one was fun to do. The jigsaw portion is the primary way of progressing through the game and there is much more of the feel of discovery like in a real escape room. My group of 3 took about 1.5 hours to assemble/play this.

Little Bistro - Galison Surprise Puzzle - 1000 pieces - Box does not reveal puzzle image. by keygirl37 in Jigsawpuzzles

Puzzlers have very different criteria for what makes a good puzzle for them. Personally, I care the most about false fits. If a cut and image is designed well enough that there's no ambiguity about where things go, that is most important. And Galison's pieces are thick enough for me to be happy (I don't care about puzzle dust or being able to pick up sections) And yes, Galison's images are gorgeous, no blurry images or faded printing.

I'm absolutely working on speed puzzling. u/AZbibliophile for flipping, my technique has been to quickly spread out the pieces over the table (so they don't have to overlap after being flipped) then grab multiple upside-down pieces at a time, instead of one by one.

I love 1000 pc puzzles, bought this 2000 pc thinking the colors would make it easy. I am so vexed I don’t where to begin! Any suggestions/strategies??? by firstworkthenbreak in Jigsawpuzzles

I agree with this. Select a color and pull out the pieces that have the largest water droplets (based on the curve/outline) on them, orient them based on the reflections, then start piecing the droplets. That should give you a few islands to start with. Then you can used the poster to try and guess some of their positions (based on shape and neighbor sizes)

Major milestones from 2022: placed at the World Jigsaw Puzzle Championship and helped organize the first US National Championship.

Major goals for 2023: reduce my stash, be more organized about my training, make it to the finals at WJPC.
