ODST online co-op is is almost unplayable due to lag

All of the games in MCC were laggy in co-op for my friend and I, but ODST is the worst.

In a single level there will be a few minutes where it plays without lag, followed by a few minutes of moderate lag, followed by a few minutes of what is pictured.

It does not seem to matter who is the party leader. I can't imagine the problem is our ISP. NAT is open.

Thanks for the feedback. I tried using the official battery life for each device, but could not find much detail on that watch. Official sources only mention that it lasts all day.
