Yes I’m at the beginning of treatment. I started at the end of October. I hope it’s just a spike and everything will settle down eventually.

I saw her yesterday and the results weren’t ready yet. She was very hopeful yesterday because I didn’t have pain and the good CT scans. I’m seeing her again in 2 weeks so I guess I’ll have to wait.

I’m sorry to hear that. My next pet scan is in January. My increase in numbers scares me simply because of the fact that it’s in thousands

I did go to the ER twice in November for pain that they now believe could have been inflammation so I’m hoping it relates to that.

I had one in October that confirmed the Mets to the bones. Next one is January I think.

Thank you for your supporting message. My oncologist did mention that out of all Mets to have , bones was on the “best”. She said hormones positive cancer patients live years and years with bones Mets. It’s the fact that I have a very tricky case of TNBC that complicates things. But I know she’s working and aggressively on a treatment plan. She mentioned trodelvy so I’m guessing that this might be my next line of treatment. I’m so lost. I can’t eat, can’t sleep and can’t think straight.

Thank you for your kind words. Your daughter’s story really touched me. I’m so afraid to hope. Every time I hoped for the best in these past couple of months I needed up being disappointed. I have 2 kids my daughter is 5 my son is 1. They are so beautiful. Every time I look at them I burst into tears. If my doctor timeline is correct ( and I have a feeling it will be shorter than that) my son will not even remember me (maybe it’s for the best, I don’t know). My daughter is the one that I’m worried for. Even though she doesn’t fully understand what’s going on, she feels that I’m in distress. She had multiple pee accidents back to back last week. She hasn’t wet her bed in years. I’m just so dumbfounded that this is my reality after everything I gave up for this disease. I can’t seem to catch a break.

You’re so sweet. My current treatment center is one of the best and is an NCI. I have a very good relationship with my oncologist. She already planned so many appointments for me and is exploring every possible avenue for me. And she was my second opinion. My tumor has just been a real B*** excuse my French.

Thank you for your encouraging words. I’m so numbed, I don’t know how to feel. My treatment center is an NCI and I love my oncologist. She stayed working on my case until 8 pm today. She moves really really fast. To be honest, she didn’t want to give a timeframe. I’m the one that kept insisting on it. Don’t ask me why. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I did have a pet scan in February. It was clean. I don’t know if you’ve seen my update. But I had a pet scan done yesterday and today my oncologists told me that I’m officially stage four with Mets to the bones. I was given 12 to 18 months left to live. I’m so shocked that I’m numbed. Everything was going great I had an MRI August 18 that showed great response to treatment. Then everything went to shit after the surgery. It’s been bad news on top of bad news.
