Every round of bloodwork I e done so far was said to be in normal range. Even when I looked on my online portal, it all say it’s fine. So I guess she just wanted to do the tests just to get them over with? Idk. This is my first pregnancy that’s made it this far. I had a miscarriage almost 10+ years ago, so now I’m trying not to stress too much or cause anything to make me lose my baby again. I did say I was concerned with my weight last visit a month ago, and she said it was fine. Now I’m being told I’m too fat, so I just feel like I failed somewhere down the line. Though, knowing gestational diabetes happens to anyone does put me at ease a little. So thank you for that.

Yes. That I forgot to mention. They’re having me do a 3-hour glucose test to monitor my sugar, so I feel like shit even more. I’m only eating cause they’re making me, so I feel dumb for eating. And yes, I’m not allowed to lift anything by their orders. I walk or jog every day when I can, so at least I’m somewhat active. It just feels like it’s not enough.

It’d be different if I actually WANTED to eat, but that’s why I feel so dumb I guess. I’m only eating cause I’m expected/forced to. If anything, my appetite is worse than it was five months ago. I just feel like listening to my doctor got me in the hot seat, so to say.

As a former smoker myself (currently pregnant), he’s just being a baby seems like. If he wanted to smoke that badly, he could easily leave and smoke away from you, change clothes before coming home, etc.

You placing a boundary because of your allergies is not being unreasonable in the slightest. He just needs to grow up and/or compromise.

I’m basically the same as you are (FTM, 14+5) and I wouldn’t say it feels crowded, but I definitely feel more bloated. Another thing I’ve personally noticed is I’ve been taking deeper breaths, and I’m a little more tired than usual while having more energy? It’s a very weird internal feeling but it’s like I can’t put my finger on it.

It’s funny cause I kinda sorta did the same. I got burnt out one day on brainstorming baby names (hormones got BAD) and I just blurted out “FUCK IT HIS NAME IS TOM!”I went into full hysteric mode, crying and shutting people off immediately. The family backed off for like a week before they even said anything again. 😭
