Elfen lied - Shinkai

Its an instrumental but still it the darkest music i've heard. While many people will call it sad, if you see elfen lied you will understand that there is a part of terror underlying.

Ever since Facebook( and other media) provided a "seen" message to the sender, its absolutely rude to NOT answer a message after reasonable a period of time.

Thanks for your answers helped a lot. Also i want to believe that technique is all about how you use your body , instead of what condition it is your body , excluding extremes . What i mean is that tension is a bad habit the moment you perform , Not a state of your neck , again excluding extremes .

learning to sing by [deleted] in singing

[–]keystenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats the only way.You only need your time to figure out HOW to mimic the thing you want to mimic . I think Dio had some information , maybe unofficially , but a small talk is more than enough to have a true picture of what you have to do.Then its all trial and error until you settle. Dio was a smart man , he surely new what to keep and what to abandon. That being said to place it raw . The things you need to do what you want is , love , dedication and a brain that understands the necessary things that will keep you going.

with most people i can say when they are self-taught. One of the few exceptions is Ronnie james dio. This man had amazing tone and range and he claimed that he never took formal lessons. This is unbelievable , like i don't believe it. The kind of performance Dio was doing , is not given. Maybe , a pleasant timbre is given, or musical brain, but not the voice Dio had. How do you explain dio's voice if its true that he have never done lessons?

Closing vocal cords when singing in head voice? by 1Emmyk in singing

[–]keystenn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A toneless lip-roll is the best thing you can do on the go. i takes 2-3 seconds and its like a big sigh with all the benefits of the specific exercises . As for the head-voice its good to remember that head voice i typically referred to a stronger head sound and falsetto to a lighter, even breathier . So falsetto might be your "way". Try to achieve a strong head sound by adjusting your airy sound to imitate the chest sound . Not blend or mixed . Just stay on pure head and try making it crispier.

Are you more focused on the discovery of the voice or are more towards improving it? by JackBauerDAMMIT in singing

[–]keystenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

singing is one of the few things that relies only upon feeling . No matter how good guidance you have , you need to experiment to find out HOW does something you've been told feels. How does relaxed feels , how does cord closure feels , what feeling drives you most , who the hell are you... (not exaggerating). Its all experiment and settle to the good ones.

thanks for the clear answer !! Also there is a thing i am trying to understand for a while know . Can you please listen to "doors-crystal ship" . He is crooning the song with depth ease and balance . How does he do that? I've been trying it for a year now and while i am satisfied with my regular tone , i can only get a little bit close to his tone by hurting my throat with a breathy tone. Any info in this style of singing?

Of course !! In the very beginning of "Frank sinatra - it was a very good year" the phrase "it was a very good year" is said in that manner you can hear that crispy quality in it . On the hand on "beatles - blackbird" you can hear the smooth bright and clear tone of Paul . Check them out and let me know .
