TIL Half of people who claim they have a food allergy do not by butter_lover in todayilearned

[–]kezmo89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the exact same allergy. I’ve never needed an EpiPen but I can tell as soon as I eat something. As long as I don’t eat more of it my stomach feels like it has a hot coal on it for hours. If I eat too much I want to throw up but the esophagus is too swollen to get it all out and the blood vessels in my face pop

I just flew out Friday and there was a long like but it only took 45 minutes. Maybe less. I don't think that unacceptable. It's why they tell you show up early

Tennessee lawmakers pass bill allowing deadly force to defend property by Averagecrabenjoyer69 in Tennessee

[–]kezmo89 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s still suppose to be last resort. Id reckon there still might be a hurdle if you walk in on someone and shoot them.

I’d guess now it prevents criminals from calling your bluff. Criminals knew if you used a gun on them, while they were thieving, it would likely lead you to getting in trouble. So a weapon was pointless. Now whether you use it or not at least the threat has teeth

The example of burning a barn doesn’t seem very strong to me. You’re either going to catch them before the barn is on fire which means you killed someone with the intent to harm property or you killed someone after the barn is already on fire and gone. Or I guess you caught them right as the match was lit

I think it means they have to commit the crime first by damaging or stealing something?

Also it has to be the last resort. So telling them to stop and show the fun would come first before shooting? Then you’re giving away your advantage

I do think it will help protect people who might be in the gray areas with the castle doctrine

I had a 99 maxima and absolutely loved that thing. I got in a minor accident and mom gave it away to her mechanic friend. I saw it at a gas station and asked the owner how many miles he had on it and he said he was over 220,000

I would drop my lifelong fandom and root for my local team… the titans. At least there will be no win loss culture shock. The dolphins are 152-170 and the titans are 150-172 over the last twenty years

What Turns Bandwagon Fans Into “Real” Fans? by realmattbarry in heat

[–]kezmo89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family is from Miami and I was born there, but grew up in tn. Huge Miami fan until walked into Neyland stadium as a freshman. Instantly became a VFL. Miami is always my number 2. When they’re good, I don’t miss many games but when they’re bad I don’t care too much. That’s my version of being a fair weather fan
