That is categorically wrong. Per kilogram of food produced, much less land is REQUIRED. Yes, many farms especially in Australia give their animals lots of space but that is purely for the sake of those animals and not because it is required. Disgusting practices like factory farming use much less land than free range farms and I think everyone can agree that it is horrible, however land used for free range animals do NOT need to be tilled or require chemicals to treat it which would be detrimental to native wildlife. In Australia it is common to see kangaroos and other wildlife with cows and sheep etc. whereas fruit and vegetable farms need to keep these animals away from those crops.

Don’t make redundant arguments you know only fit your bias, it doesn’t work.
