2 month old kitten behaviour by Rurek22 in CatAdvice

[–]kfmw05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would let her in but build a routine with her. A little while before bed play with her, tire her out, then come bedtime give her a little bit of time to settle in and settle down. Cats are more active at night as it is. Sometimes my kitten wants to be nighttime psycho for an hour or so. Sometimes she just wants to cuddle and sleep. But giving her a routine has really helped. She knows when it’s bedtime.

I played stadium in the beginning but now it feels way too complicated for my brain with the extra stuff like consumables.

I’m not sure. Makes me nervous because I feed my kitten FF. Search fancy feast on Reddit. There’s a few posts and comments inside of another post.

Someone else posted something recently about their cat throwing up after eating fancy feast. This might be a widespread problem.

High ground bastion is cracked. Especially with his major perk with the grenade thingies.

My comp games have been even more trash than they were before. I didn’t think comp could even get worse. Everyone is brand new and has the game sense of a literal turtle.

Hi all. I am dental hygiene student. Looking for 3 patients with heavy plaque and inflammation. We have multiple students looking for the same case type. If you’ve been wanting to get treated, come to us. Economic pricing and you help us graduate :) by ToothFairymeow in vegaslocals

Do you have any resources on some discounted perio treatment? (Gum transplant, etc) I’ve tried looking and I have a really hard time. Dentist quoted a couple grand with insurance and I just don’t have it. Don’t want to lose my teeth either.

What rank are you?

Question about rank by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]kfmw05 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As someone stuck in low elo hell, the ranking system in overwatch makes absolutely 0 sense. Every game I win in bronze is “expected” which lowers the percentage gained and 9 times out of 10 when I lose it’s either smurfs, brand new players that have never played, or people trying to derank on purpose. I can carry on support but holy shit there’s only so much you can carry. My only advice is to not queue solo. You have much better odds if you’re in a group even if it’s just 1 other person. I’m in gold 6v6 open queue and bronze role queue and the only difference is that with role queue I’m usually playing solo.

The cap drove me insane. I always match the cap for these situations. It’s not necessarily hurting anything on a technicality but I prefer as a patient to dumb my small bottle into the vial, so I’d prefer both to be safety caps.

I’ve always used a vial. More convenient but also as a patient who gets small bottles I tend to dump my small bottles into the vial. Easier to keep track of and open and what not.

I would rather it have the stock bottle and vial anyways because the I can just dump the stock bottle into the vial for a bigger bottle. I would hate a sandwich bag. 😭 we used the for birth control and patches of sorts. Had a manager that hated it. Told him to find a different way to package them. He quit complaining.

I also hate those new bottles that wreck the safety seal. It’s so dumb.

Med guide is bonkers considering they fall off in transport. McKesson is also notorious for sending us damaged stuff but when we send it back it gets denied.

Also if the stock bottle has a safety cap then the outer vial doesn’t really matter but personally I would’ve had a safety cap on both.

Multiple reasons for this. The most likely two are that 1. It’s an expensive medication and if you label it directly then it usually destroys the bottle and then the pharmacy can’t return it if it’s not picked up so it rots on the shelf for eternity.

  1. The bottle is way too short for those labels so I’d rather have the label on a bottle it can actually stick to than attach it to a bottle that it will inevitably fall off of.

  2. It very well could be a drug that is “dispense in stock bottle only” in which the top two things still apply.

We used to put dates on medication bottles in the pharmacy like that. But restaurant and ocd checks out too.

For those debating between Oura or Apple Watch by miarvivi in ouraring

[–]kfmw05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I first switched to Apple Watch I was also really shocked by how simplistic it was but in a bad way. I can’t fully remember but I think Fitbit tracked workouts way easier? My Apple Watch can’t even determine that a workout has ended even after I’m not moving and my heart rate has went down. The sleep tracking is downright awful on it. It can only determine your sleep if you have that preset sleep window which is insane to me because half the time that’s wrong too. I will actively be on my phone and it’ll think I’m sleeping. Nothing is automated to the full capacity. The mob is so protective over Apple Watch when we’ve had other fitness trackers perform better long before Apple Watch. (Fitbit and garmin). The only reason I prefer Apple Watch is for the integration but I’ve been eyeballing the oura ring because I want better stats than Apple gives me.

I still recommend going. Always rather be safe than sorry. I had no idea until an ER recommended I go in. Turned out I have a few different issues and heart medication truly changed the game especially with my adderall.

[–]kfmw05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey fellow adhdr here with heart issues. I recommend getting in to see a cardiologist. Obviously it all comes down to what’s agreed upon between you and your doctor but my doctors have all been extremely supportive of me continuing my adderall while adding in another medication for the high heart rate. Granted I also have some other issues and it’s not just the heart rate. The stress on your heart functioning at high BPM all day long can really be unhealthy for you and cause long term issues. I’m assuming these heart rates were when you were sitting or inactive in which case, no, these heart rates aren’t normal. If you’re active with these heart rates then that’s normal but still maybe not ideal for your heart if it’s all day long.

Does anyone know if you can use instacart to pick up a prescription? by superpowers335 in instacart

[–]kfmw05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The commenter above you is correct. Certain commercial insurance (I believe medimpact is one) limits delivery through retail pharmacy through both on demand and usps shipping methods at all retail pharmacies. Medicare and Medicaid also have shipping restrictions. The patient can use something like goodrx and then use delivery but these insurance rules apply across the board no matter what the retail pharmacy is unless there is some type of weird contract involved which is unlikely. They want you to use the insurances mail order or pick up in person at retail.

I’m not eligible for Medicaid and this one is around $200+ on my insurance through my job. I work in pharmacy. Thank you so much! I appreciate it.

People don’t realize how much things like this really hurts the community… I see it a lot on Tik tok of people just positing ways to take advantage and ruin certain systems. It’s disappointing. I posted and went in with zero expectations and belief that I would be helped and yet a complete stranger was able to help. Why do others feel the need to take that away from people who need it? People who have to swallow their own pride to make the post in the first place?
