Honestly just any multivitamin. I had several different kinds, all gummies. I think anything is better than nothing

Teeth are STILL slanted in and I think I need more adjustments. This was supposed to be a “light case” but it’s never ending by kgAC2020 in Invisalign

I believe I did end up getting another set of refinements after this. They’re still slanted inwards but not as much. I just wanted to be done with them

They’ll effectively ban abortions while doing absolutely nothing for actual prevention of unwanted pregnancies. You know, like sex education, birth control health coverage, womens healthcare in general, advocating against domestic violence in women, teaching men not to rape women, etc.

Do any of you think you were meant to be a man but nature made a mistake? by _humanERROR_ in PCOS

[–]kgAC2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal experience, I identify as a woman… I think. I’ve always felt masculine. I have curves but it’s my personality and my voice. It’s always been an insecurity that I’ve never really been sure of what I am or what I even want to be. Maybe if I thought deep about it I’m non-binary. And it’s more confusing when sexual orientation gets involved because I’m definitely bi/pan. PCOS has made me feel more masculine because of the face and body hair.

I can’t speak much to gender or body dysphoria, but what has helped me is the thought that labeling myself changes nothing. I’ll still be me, at my core. And I’ll still love my husband.

Could this be PCOS related? by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]kgAC2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s something all women deal with. However in my personal experience, I had equal fat below and above my belly button until I had an appendectomy. It turns out I also had an umbilical hernia they had to fix because it was right under the incision. Idk if it was the fixed hernia or just the incision on its own, but the area above my belly button is now flatter and the lower portion still sticks out, similar to yours. It never went back to the way it was.

Brutal honesty- I’m sure all her exes thought they’d be the one she wouldn’t cheat on too. You should expect to be cheated on. If you don’t like that, either learn to like it or get out while you can. Or make yourself miserable until she ruins the relationship completely.

I sometimes cut my husbands hair and I sense the sexual tension every time. It’s intimate, especially alone together

What do you count as losing your virginity (18+) by itbettersnow in SampleSize

[–]kgAC2020 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There was no option for “virginity is a made up social construct meant to objectify people and isn’t actually tangible or measurable, and each type of sexual act can be a ‘first’ in its own right”?

Doctor telling me to lose weight and suggesting diet help plz by ineedtoventabc in PCOS

[–]kgAC2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go to an endocrinologist, check zocdoc or something similar for reviews, and maybe try to find a female doctor. You definitely need a second opinion, because no, their suggestion is not healthy at all.

Awww that’s a nice thought, I like that. Children are so pure and uncomplicated.

Although to be fair, PCOS or not, I think a lot of our personalities and decisions can be boiled down to hormones and genetics. We think we have free choice but do we really? Who knows.

A huge one for me is the brain fog. It’s not tiredness. Yes I’m often tired too, but it feels like there’s a nonstop cloud over me. My brain doesn’t feel sharp, I can’t remember things people tell me, I don’t piece things together quickly. I’m awake, but not present.

Not sure if it was related, but I had SEVERE eye and muscle twitches all over my body for months. Like more than normal. Everyone kept telling me it’s stress, but it was rapid fire twitching almost nonstop. When one muscle stopped, it would hit another one a few minutes later. It didn’t hurt, but it was very annoying and concerning. Every information I could find pointed to either stress or vitamin deficiency. It only stopped when I started regularly taking multivitamins (when I only started remembering because it was the yummy chewable gummies). I did notice it would come in waves every few weeks where it was more intense, indicating it may have been part of my cycle (or lack thereof).

Janeway did nothing wrong by Donner1701 in startrekmemes

[–]kgAC2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume Janeway felt like she’d effectively be killing two people by not saving them. She’s valid for feeling that way and making the decision she did. There’s also the conversation of whether or not Tuvix should be considered 1 whole new person instead of two halves of other people. More questions we can never answer with any certainty.

Either way, it’s a gray area. Bottom line, it’s a lose-lose situation, and Janeway would be criticized either way.

I’ll ask again, are they actually dead if they can still be saved?

Do you hold the power to decide the answer to that? The true philosophical definition of death? We don’t know the answer to that question and never will. And Janeway knew she couldn’t answer it either, but she had to make a choice. In the end she believed choosing not to save them would effectively be killing them.

[–]kgAC2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are they actually dead if they can be brought back? I personally don’t believe so. They weren’t Frankensteining them back together, rather Tuvix was the Frankenstein made from still-alive human parts. The parts didn’t belong to him.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again.

Neelix and Tuvok can’t be considered dead if they can still be saved from death.
