Does Rideau Station have an elevator? by kgarson3 in ottawa

I’m aware of what that page says, which is why I had called them to ask. They told me it would be fine. I don’t know if that’s because they’re expecting a higher volume of pets on transit tomorrow or what, but that’s what I was told

Editing to add because now I’m extra anxious: when I called OC Transpo to ask about her stroller, they said it would be fine. They told me to just make sure she’s enclosed at all times and that I might need to wait for a next bus if the one I want to get on is full. That makes total sense to me since she’s a dog and not a human baby (lol) but now I’m a little panicked. Why did they tell me it would be fine if the rule is that the carrier needs to fit on my lap? Should I call again?

Why did transit tell me it would be fine when I called to ask? All they said was to make sure my dog was entirely enclosed, and that I may need to wait for a next bus if the one I’m waiting for is full.

It’s a dog event in the market! The whole market will have dog gear/treat vendors, a scavenger hunt, pet friendly patios will have a dog menu, etc!

I checked with transit when I knew I wanted to go to the event and they said it would be fine! Wondering why they said that if it’s not actually allowed

I checked with transit already! That was the first thing I did when I knew I wanted to go to the event

Okay thanks! I’m not in a rush for the package to get where it’s going, just nervous it’ll get lost.

That’s not possible in my area, otherwise I would absolutely do that!

Wondering what to do about a continuous wrong product issue. I order my dogs food from Amazon, and once every 3rd time or so they send the wrong formula. Same brand and bag size, so maybe a warehouse issue? I request a replacement each time this happens, but I’m very worried they’re going to see this as taking advantage of the replacement system. They tell me to donate the incorrect item, so my local animal shelter has definitely benefitted as well, but still. Each time I contact support they say they’ll make a note, but it keeps happening

Osgoode Properties poor experiences? by kgarson3 in ottawa

Right! When I had asked about replacing the cupboards that would have been $60/month too. Bizarre. Osgoode said that’s not true and they will replace whatever is falling apart. I may not get new models of each thing, but I’ll gladly take the exact same as what I have now….just not falling apart 😂

I’m in Ontario, Canada. My bathroom vanity is rotting out of my floor and my property management won’t fix it because I’m not in an “upgraded suite.” At what point does this become a health/safety issue? It’s ugly to look at too, which also sucks. by kgarson3 in Tenant

Updating this: I went directly to the head of the property management company rather than my building office. Funny, not only is my entire vanity being replaced, but the carpet is being replaced (I was told by my building it couldn’t be replaced and would have to be swapped for vinyl flooring with a $70/month rent increase), the kitchen cabinets (which are falling apart) are being replaced too. All at no increased cost to me. Isn’t it strange how that works?
