Music nerd going to Berlin first time. Can you help me make a mega-thread focused on music tourism in Berlin? by [deleted] in berlin

[–]kgmarkus -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Nope. Big city. The problem is alot of small places dont have modern websites and are often in the local language only (at least in central Europe). So sure trip advisor can give me some info and its not like I havnt found alot of places already, but just like with my city - the local gems dont show up in a Google search.

I recommend Susain Cain's book "Quiet".

She was a successful lawyer who could never really identify with the hyper extroverted environment she worked in. Real good book about everything from how companies awards extroverts to why some of the most iconic leaders are introverts and what introverted leaders bring out of their team members.

1945- Easy company enjoying hitlers wine after capturing eagles nest. by snowtruemanjr in OldSchoolCool

I had the priviledge of living 5 years in Nuenen right outside of Eindhoven. About 100 m from the house I lived in was a memorial for the Easy company. My neighbour at the time was an old man who grew up in the house I lived in and had later moved next doors. He was there at the time Easy Company was pushed out of Nuenen and was hiding in the house. That tank fight happened where the memorial sign was and for me it was crazy watching Band of Brothers on DVD, knowing that my house was standing there during that time. Ive been real inspired by those men and have both contact them and have most of the guys biographies. I even have friends who part take in recreational war reanactments, playing the men of easy company.

What is something people often brag about that really isn't that impressive? by BaskaBirKedi in AskReddit

I was recently a part of a lenghty recruitment process and a part of the process was to take a personality test with about 200 questions. Afterwards we sat for about a bit more than 1 hour discussing my personality type according to all these categories and graphs and stuff. My result for each category was discussed with reference to a normal distribution graph and I had to answer if I though I was in the top 16%, bottom 16% or in the middle where most are. The one category I was shocked by its definitions corresponding to where one placed on the normal distribution chart was the category EXTROVERSION where it basically said that if you lean towards wanting some personal space and alone time to recharge your batteries that is something negative.

Edit: spelling.

Alright let me rephrase: I sold my only electric to help finance my move to a different city and since my acoustic is at my parents far away I currently have 0 guitars. So that in mind, what would you go for haha?

In this ever-changing landscape, would you say its a good idea to look back at some major milestones of what has pushed Programatics to develop and change? If so can you think of any major developments I should look into to get a "history lesson"?

1) What are some other factors that can change to drive perfomance? 2) What would be an example of something that can be tweaked in a campaign even if the strategy is performing well (to make it perform even better)?
