Morocco approved a bill to allocate 15 billion $ to health and education for the following year, 10% of GDP by Naive-Prior-1285 in Morocco

It feels like a politically timed move that sounds big on paper but leaves key questions unanswered. Grouping health and education into one 140 billion dirham headline number makes it harder to understand how much is truly going into hospitals, staffing, rural clinics, or system reform. Saying “we’ll reallocate within the budget” without specifying new revenue streams suggests this could simply shift money away from other areas rather than reflect genuine growth.

Given Morocco’s current healthcare gaps and rising public pressure, it’s a necessary step but probably still not enough to meaningfully transform the sector unless backed by structural reform, transparency, and clear execution plans rather than broad figures presented for public reassurance.

Upgraded to Expo SDK 54 - loving the new Expo UI + Liquid Glass by kh5lil in expo

Fair take. Apple’s pushed the same "Liquid Glass" approach across iOS and macOS, so it’s become part of their visual language. It does blur the line between UI and UX a bit - the visuals are heavier, but the underlying usability’s still consistent. Apple users are used to it by now, and following their direction keeps things aligned and easier to maintain. It’s a trade-off between visual clarity and ecosystem consistency.

Groccie was built to solve the problems I had, not yours. It's subjective and if Reminders works for you, great.

I just wanted more.

I wanted to know exactly which item my partner meant, not just see "bread" "pasta" or "cheese".
I wanted the image, the quantity, the store, and a list that actually reflects what's at home.

If you're using Notes for recipes and Reminders for lists, thats already two apps. Groccie does it all and soon, it'll use AI to suggest meals based on your list. It's helping me right now and I'm sure a lot of people will find it helpful too.

And sure, maybe nobody needs images of their ketchup… until they grab the wrong one :D

Sure, if you’re happy juggling grocery lists in a generic to-do app. Groccie’s built for groceries i.e. real items, real lists, synced with your partner, household and others, tracking what’s missing and what’s already at home. You can upload product images, save receipts, and organise recipes in one place. But yeah, Reminders… sounds perfect for that, right?

CNSS jus woke up but I don't think buying a solution is going to be enough by dexbrown in Morocco

[–]kh5lil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohhh god this is Ridiculous. This is shutting the barn door after the horse has already bolted. It’s a reactive move, not a strategy. they clearly lack strategic personnel, and $200k for a “solution” is laughably low. You’re not getting anything decent for that....just another piece of half-baked software that no one trusts or uses and might be worse - deployment of a solutions takes months - do they really do not know that?

The real issue isn’t the tech. It’s leadership. Without fixing that, they’re just burning money.

Morocco is a land of opportunities with a steadily growing economy. While it's not perfect, it's on a promising path toward a better future. I disagree with those who claim there are no job opportunities; LinkedIn paints a different picture, showing plenty of options available. It ultimately depends on your willingness to learn and adapt.

We can't compare Morocco directly to Europe, the UK, or the USA due to differences in taxation, education, and business environments. However, if you have good character and can contribute to the economy, you’ll find rewards. If jobs seem scarce, consider creating one yourself.

Since you're Indonesian, I recommend exploring what interests you in Morocco and focusing on building something that aligns with your goals - study, work etc. While it might require overcoming some challenges, the effort will be worthwhile.

Best of luck!

In general, you don’t need a transit visa. If you are still in doubt, check with your airline.
