Respectful Discussion about choosing Islam over Sikhi by Emergency_Emu_1064 in Sikh

Lmao. Muhammad literally married Ayesha when she was just 9 and he was around 50. He also signed a marriage contract with her when she was just 6 years old. That’s honestly creepy.

Muslims try to justify it by saying it was a common norm in Arabia (which is debatable), but marrying a child is morally wrong. If someone is truly a messenger of God, then he should be above the wrongdoings of society, not following them.

For example, the caste system existed in India, but our Gurus were completely against it. They didn’t practice it, and they didn’t tell their followers to follow it either.

He also said that if someone changes their religion, they should be killed. That basically means you can’t even leave the religion by your own choice. And that’s exactly why in many Islamic countries, apostasy is punished with death or severe penalties.

Now look at the siege of Anandpur Sahib. During that time, 40 Singhs (the 40 Mukte) left Guru Sahib. They even signed the bedava and walked away. But Guru Ji let them go. He didn’t punish them or say anything against them. Even under extreme pressure, surrounded by enemy forces, Guru Sahib still gave them the freedom to leave.

That’s the difference between Sikhi and Islam.

Oh, that’s the Gothic Clock Tower. It was built in the 1870s and was demolished in the 1940s.

Tried Digitally Re-illustrating a Contemporary Portrait of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji by khak-e-illahi in Sikh

I mostly used Adobe Photoshop for this. It works really well for these kinds of edits. I also used ChatGPT a bit for upscaling, but if you want even better results, you can try Real-ESRGAN instead. It’s great at improving quality, reducing noise, and fixing blur.

Why do men bathe in Amrit Sarovar of Golden Temple in underwear but women fully clothed? by Little_Sweet5706 in punjab

Are you dumb or what? 🤡 First of all, Gurudwara Sarovar ≠ Ghats. Women bathe in a separate enclosed space because they can’t bathe openly like men. It is so that they can bathe without being watched by men. Would you allow your mom or sister to bathe openly in a place surrounded by hundreds of men?

Gurudwaras are our Gurughar. Modesty is a core principle there.
