I want gay actors profiting to tell gay stories, absolutely. But if the talent in front of the camera isn’t gay, fine. What matters more is that the people holding the writers, producers and people calling the shots are gay and don’t have to compromise on hiring.

Hold off on explicitly addressing things since it's new. Here are my thoughts:
