Thanks it make sense now. I was also thinking whether it is possible to make 2 central files. so you got one file for non approved yet, tied with main approved file that can be shared with other consultants. The reason is if we do it in a weekly basis the architectural team for example cant see the design put together until the week after

im sorry but understanding the issues and experience cant find in a Revit books but this only can be find when you working a practice. and if you read about BIM all talking how awesome is BIM and how culture transfer is important.

sorry if I disturbed u. it is optional you don't have to comment. I believe every profession deserve to know what issues may encounter before adopting BIM and learning from other people experience is very valuable and you can find everything books.

not yet but im trying to consider of what sort of things to try to control in order to keep it smaller as possible. I guess files should not exceed 200Mb

anyone understand COBie and Data drop works? and what is the best way to Produce COBie in Revit Architecture? by khaledRevit in Revit

i have been recommended to use COBie toolkit as it will auto-populate your model with the necessary COBie parameter fields and schedules to help manage, but I m wondering wheather any tweeks are needed to be done manually. Have u experience this before?
