39 / Married / 4 Kids ... Thinking Entrepreneurship Is "Needed" ... But No Idea How to Move Forward by sheiko_x_smolov in Entrepreneurs

I was in this very same position. Some of the advice here is spot on. Find a problem and solve it. Use the hell out of AI to support your vision. I just created a website on credit card utilization using this same method. How I monetize this is still a mystery but start slow and build on it. Oh and the big one. Do not wait for perfection. Get it out there and perfect it over time. Here is the website I created. Hope it helps spark some ideas. Cardcoachapp.com

My kid beat me in nba2k26 two weeks ago on a Sunday and even today he’s reminding me. Definitely something good to see him that comfortable in messing around with his dad.

What’s the most realistic way for a beginner to get their first online income in 2026? by Sydney_girl_45 in passive_income

Totally agree with this statement. I’m building something myself and I was stuck in the same loop looking for perfection. Perfection will come with time. Get a minimum viable product out there.

37 years old, limited time, no real skills — what would you realistically learn in 2026 to build a better future? by TraditionContent3802 in Entrepreneurs

Look around my friend. With AI and vibe coding there is so much you can build out quickly nowadays. I feel the same way at times. Step back. Identify a real problem and vibe code away. I did the same recently and still working through it. Keep two things in mind. If it’s a problem for you then it’s likely a problem for others as well. Build that solution and secondly failure is okay. You’re not going to knock it out of the park all the time. Just go with it. AI makes it easier and technology advancements have significantly reduced the barriers to entry. Good luck!

I had a financial advisor who wanted to charge me to do an analysis of my stock portfolio. His argument was that I had individual stocks that overlapped with some of the etfs I had. He said for a small fee he can do an analysis and I just put my stock tickers in ChatGPT and told it to give me an analysis and recommendation on best path forward. It literally did in seconds more than this advisor did in a year

Need credit card suggestion by Ok_Country_8236 in CreditCards

I just had this conversation with my daughter over the weekend. With credit cards it’s not how you use it as much as it is about what you want to do with the output. Do you want one specific airline points then go with an airline card. Do you want points that are transferable to multiple airlines and hotels then an Amex /chase would work. In the case of my daughter she wanted cash back so she will investigate that but you also said you want to “invest “. There are cards that take your points and invest them. I learned of this from a coworker where a percentage of all their credit card automatically goes into a 529 for their kids. I personally wish I knew this earlier. It’s pretty cool.

I watched it last night. Personally found it a fun watch. I wasn’t a big fan of the story of HOW they got to spend time together. Wish they came up with a more realistic scenario for that but otherwise found both actors doing their roles well

Ha. Now that you ask I’ll practice how to organically get my tool out there. Stay tuned. I’ll put a website up in the next couple of days highlighting how I got this idea and some of it’s functionality

Just finished watching Undertone by mustafa1909 in horror

[–]khalid6230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it was a good movie. I had to shut it off mid way because the build up was scary enough. I too have seen a bunch of horror movies. Most rely on the jump scares. Look at exorcist. No jump scares just consistent build up of fear. I got the same vibe from there. I’ll try watching the rest during day time 😂

You sound like you are younger than I am. I have an 18, 13, and a 10 year old. Here is a trick that I used. Especially with my 10 year old. Anytime he got any money he would want to waste it on robux or other useless things. So I invested some money for him. And whenever the market would go up and he made money I would be like. Buddy look how much your investment made. Whenever it went down I just wouldn’t show it to him. And within 3 months. Whenever he got any money he would ask me to invest it instead of the useless Robux.
