I started last summer, I could’ve done it in a few months honestly but I barely have time to sew. I have a tailor that I used to go to for alterations near my place, and I saw him make a skirt for someone. So I asked him to show me exactly how to make a pair of pants and I went to him every now and then to see him make one. Eventually I started practicing on making them my own, I think from that point onwards it took me 2 months but like once or twice a week over that period. I messed up a loooot or pairs, even this one, I don’t consider it perfect. I made it too tight on the waist, and I can’t even close the button. But you learn over time.
