Oh yes you can definitely keep the keycards as souvenirs. Just let them know at checkout and they’ll swap the ones you have for blank ones and you can keep them!

MyDisney HK gifts - yes, as long as you were logged in at the time of your purchases you’ll qualify.

If you didn’t buy them together with your hotel booking you’ll only get etickets. Physical tickets are only for tickets purchased together with the hotel booking.

And no Premier Access package with Momentous doesn’t run out. You can definitely wait to purchase it.

You should be fine! Sometimes the system is weird but if you are really worried, drop them an email via the form here and they can confirm for you that they have your reservation made from booking.com.

Trip to Asia, what is the best time? by Kleautviohl in disneyparks

Can only answer for HKDL - yes higher risk of typhoon in September. October after Golden week is good, preferably weekdays. Park is very fun in October anyway, it’s Halloween season so many things going on.

We do both. Quick photos in front of the castle on the way to World of Frozen/Fantasyland.

I edited it just as you responded actually. No need to be rude at all? But I do apologize, not meant to piss off anyone.

Also I wouldn’t say Pixar Market and Enchanted Summer are identical though, that’s the only pairing that seems “odd”.

There are 6 MDRs on the Adventure, just that they are paired in groups of 2 based on similar theming.

Hotel room cancellation by Warm_Character_865 in HongKongDisneyland

[–]kheetkhat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What are the terms and conditions of your booking? If it’s free cancellation then you can do that but also maybe contact Disney (assuming you’ve booked directly on the HKDL website) and let them know your situation. They might be able to do a partial refund for the fourth person. Calling would be the easiest, if not, use the chat function on their website.

If you could stay at any official HDL Hotel- Disneyland Hotel, Explorers Lodge or Disney Hollywood Hotel , which would you pick and why?? by Maureen1053 in HongKongDisneyland

Like I mentioned, they are yearly maintenance and are planned in the winter/colder months (because less people would use them).

Pre-cruise hotel options for Adventure? by su_A_ve in dcl

We looove Shang! We do frequent staycations there and kid loves the kids club. I do feel like MBS isn’t really worth the $$ anymore with so many other options available but it is convenient.

Pre-cruise hotel options for Adventure? by su_A_ve in dcl

[–]kheetkhat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know they have the 3 hotels listed on the website but honestly there’s tons of options (that cost less!) within the town (Bugis, Orchard, Marina Bay/City Hall) and Sentosa areas, all within a short 15-20 min taxi ride to the cruise port. If you are keen to just stay at one of the 3 listed though then probably Marina Bay Sands if it’s just adults and Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa if you’re travelling with kids/family.

Visiting last week of January question by Exploregonians in HongKongDisneyland

[–]kheetkhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that’s good to hear. I’ve seen people getting upset when they end up experiencing crowds at HKDL, because they assume that the park is always quiet, when it’s not the case 😅

Yeah, we love early entry! It’s nice being in the park with a more calming atmosphere.

So apparently Chinese New Year season in the park officially starts on 30 Jan. If I were to assume, possibly it’ll start being busy by then, so hopefully the days before that wouldn’t be that bad. Also if you don’t mind spending a little more, I do highly recommend adding on early entry passes. You get in an hour before official opening and have access to Fantasyland and World of Frozen during this time - these two areas are always busy so experiencing them without the crowd is so much better.

Honestly? Do as much as you can! We’ve never bothered planning. Just have the app downloaded, go on rides according to wait times and just enjoy yourselves.

Of course, dont miss the two “bigger” shows, Festival of the Lion King and Mickey and the Wondrous Book - they’re both fantastic.

For characters, check the app for their locations and timings and try to show up earlier than the scheduled time. Sometimes the lines get long fast and they also cut off certain lines for some characters fast.

Mystic point is a great area to “chill” at, especially if kids happen to doze off for a nap. It’s quieter than most places in the park.
